Koreans vs. Japs Korean insurgent Kim, fleeing the persecution of Japanese security forces, runs into a Catholic church and hides there. The blasphemous Japanese began to beat the holy father in the hope that he would betray the fugitive. For the priest stands Lee Jong Tu - the head of the Korean rebels and master of Taekwondo. He's filigree with scoundrels. But the restless Japanese after a while returned, captured the holy father and put an ultimatum before Lee Jong Tu: they will release the priest if the hero of the Korean resistance surrenders to the Japanese occupiers.
In the list of actors, I must say, there are actors-symbols of the Hong Kong cinema of the 80s: Sammo Hung and Yuan Biao. I did not see the second one in the film, probably because of the episodic nature of his role. And that’s why the Fat Dragon was left out of my sight – it’s a mystery to me, probably in 1973 he didn’t have extra pounds of weight, so I didn’t recognize him. But the viewer can fully enjoy the charisma and fighting skills Angela Mao: in this film, Lady Whirlwind so skillfully sends opponents to the knockout that even eclipses her teacher Lee Jong Tu.
“The sting of the master dragon” is a movie for lovers of Hong Kong muzzle, meaningless and merciless.
