The Werewolf Who Saw the Pig The Shrek franchise, perhaps, leads in the number of short films. In honor of certain holidays, the authors did not miss the opportunity to show something special that was missing in the films. And above all, it's horror. Oh, yeah!
Fortunately, Shrek is not here, but there are three funny German pigs. You probably remember them, especially in the third Shrek. These characters are charming because look very appetizing, even drooling! And their accent is, of course, funny. It would seem that with their participation can be a funny and innocent horror story, but... I don't understand why the writer didn't finish the story. To call the end of what we are shown, I absolutely cannot. The cartoon just breaks off on credits at the most dynamic moment, and what happens to all the characters remains a mystery. And since piglets are threatened with serious danger, the horror story is not so innocent. Too much retreat from the light atmosphere of the main cartoons.
But even if you don’t count the “final”, “Piglet” is strange. Characters fuss, have meaningless conversations (some of which I never understood), and one pig who has a damaged leg has a very strange backstory. There is nothing in common with the original fairy tale, although Shreka is pointless to blame for it. But the appearance of the wolf raises questions. Or rather, his clothes. Why is he always wearing such a ridiculous outfit?
Alas, but this is a bad cartoon, which I can only praise a little for a funny scene with reincarnation.
