Mary J. Presents… “Amsterdam” in Russian translation is a comedy, which involves a rather simple, but good-natured message that you need to value your loved ones, that you need to believe and follow your dream, about love, but ... and of course about marijuana:
Seemingly melodramatic elements, but wrapped in a lustful wrapper with a smell of grass. The whole movie is like a small but pleasant madness. Yes, sometimes the film goes through with toilet humor, but it does not get worse, it becomes even funnier! In general, the story is presented smoothly, diluting the basis of the plot with trips (of course!), various dumb people, etc. Despite the first impression that it is just a vulgar comedy (it is not), you get imbued with the main characters. The work of the director here, let’s put it this way, is unusual and unusual for fans of only blockbusters. It's from me, more like a plus. All the actors of the film in their own way cope well with the roles, although it is worth considering some primitiveness of what is happening, so as a consequence - to play special and not necessary. In general, this is a pleasant and not ordinary film, when you just want to relax and feel like you are in Amsterdam for a second!
