It may seem that hope, happiness, and peace have disappeared. The body with an arrow bursts into the thick of battle, we will light the dawn with our hearts. (c) Linked Horizon - Guren no yumiya "Crimson Arrows" is a compilation of the first thirteen episodes of the main anime, complete in two hours. Honestly, I do not like it too much, preferring to watch the original in all its glory, and not squeezed into the full-length, given that a lot in this case is simply cut off.
But this time I was very pleased that all the main events are competently woven into the format of a full meter, given how much was in these thirteen episodes. It looks as interesting as the original.
I will not go into the plot and characters in detail - I wrote about them in the review on "Invasion of Titans", but simply note that a person who is not familiar with the TV version of this creation and who does not have time to view this masterpiece in all its glory, this picture is quite suitable. Unlike the same compilations on Death Note, this one not only managed to include all the main events, but also managed to not lose its specific atmosphere. In addition, a couple of new scenes that were not in the anime, but are present in the manga, which will please the fans of this creation, which I am.
Very impressed with the modified versions of the main soundtrack, sounded in the TV version, which included in the feature. They gave a new twist to the old story. The entire movie-size-soundtrack was also added to my playlist, especially the songs "Linked Horizon - Guren no Zahyou" and "Hiroyuki Sawano - Yamanaiame", which sounded in the final.
As a result, the compilation is made quite qualitatively, and it is quite suitable for viewers who for one reason or another do not have time to watch the series, but the rest I would advise to get acquainted with the TV version first.
