Commitment I grew up with hip hop, I continue to grow, some will argue, some will not, but I consider lowriding and everything related to it – an integral part of culture.
Honestly, sitting down to watch the film, I expected to brighten up the evening, put aside the assessment and put this picture in the piggy bank of forgotten films. The beginning was in line with my expectations - a little boring, the moment when it is determined whether the film will affect you or not, whether you will endure to the end, turn off or with admiration want to erase your memory and watch again.
Danny is a young man, a street artist who expresses his heartache in graffiti, his older brother, who just sat out, his father, who lost his beloved, got confused, lost in the space of communication with his sons. Danny doubts that the tops of the Olympus will rise, but what hooked me is that he is still blind to his work, he clearly knows that the artist is he, just as his father knows that collecting lowriders is his credo, both of them get high from their business. I will say more that it is conveyed by the atmosphere of the film than by the actors, but despite this, I felt the courage in each of the characters, with my actions, actions and decisions.
The further I looked, the more I immersed myself in the feeling of events, in the emotions of the film, in the end I was pleasantly surprised and encouraged. There is no bragging, which carry the rappers, here is a tribute to the flow ' wheelbarrows on springs'.
I advise you not to expect anything great from this picture and slightly underestimate your expectations, in this case, pleasure is guaranteed.
