The story of "lost time" Let's go. On the agenda is the horror film of Turkish origin “Maji”.
I’m in a constant search for horror movies and it’s one thing to watch something from blockbusters and famous directors, and it’s another to dig into everything and find films worthy of attention. I got acquainted with Turkish horrors recently when I watched the trailer for the movie Baskin or in our version of the Key to Hell. In both cases, the trailers intrigue to the outrage, pictures with an abundance of blood, dismemberment, some creepy creatures. Sound and camera work on a level, everything sharp, loud, unexpected. But both films disappointed me. Here we go.
Marla comes to Turkey from America to work in a language school. After some time, sister Olivia comes to visit her, for moral support because she was abandoned by her boyfriend, and she is pregnant. And during dinner, Marla tells her that she has a premonition that someone is stalking her and that someone may even be "something." But Olivia seemed like a strange delusion. But what happens at night will shock her and give rise to an investigation that will stretch for more than 2 hours with no ending.
I'll tell you right away, it's hard. In a bad way, this is one of the longest and most boring films. This monstrous makeup, he's just a theatrical, painted face. Shooting, so mysteriously shocking in the trailer, here reminded of the ridiculous Indian action films about “over” people. Abruptly inflated and all ... The sound was terrible, the screams just pissed off the whole movie. I don’t know if the actors were there or not. It's a pity these old Hollywood "dogs" of Madsen and Baldwin became. Although their filmography shows that they take quantity, not quality. In general, in my opinion, failure in all respects, except for the trailer. I don’t recommend it, it’s a terrible waste of time. The director of the films did not make much, I would call it TV series. I have no hope that he will come out with something worthwhile.
In the end, I want to say that it is better to pass by, believe me, you will not miss anything. Thanks to this film, girls who went to work in Turkey will have to fear not only sex slavery.
