Waves of dreams often crash against the rocks of reality. . It’s funny that I just happened to stumble upon this film, as if fate had thrown up. I don’t know why, but this movie is so good. I really liked that the plot and characters unfold gradually, you delve into what is happening, you begin to feel the situation. It had a bigger effect on me because I had a one-on-one situation, as shown in the film. I fell in love with the girl, but like the main character, I could not offer her anything but my feelings. Of course, she chose a different life, I can’t blame her, everyone chooses for themselves, but I don’t think this choice brings happiness. Maybe at first, but to me, it's not happiness, it's the desire to be happy. She's just like Uma Thurman's character, cold and realistic, she's not romantic or dreamy, but I loved her. But unlike the main character, I did not pursue her, did not torture her, and just let her go. After all, if you love, if you really love, and not just want to get what you want, then you will let go, do not interfere with a person to live as he wants, to achieve his dreams. You'll just make a difficult but necessary choice, leave so as not to complicate things. The main character in the film did not understand this, and for this he was heartbroken. But I really liked the film, the actors played very well and the plot is interesting.
What I can say is that all this talk about true love is real fairy tales, yet money, prosperity, stability, all this plays a big role. Reality takes its toll, and reality is merciless and often disappointing. Sooner or later, everyone grows up and leaves behind these naive dreams that someone will love them only for their emotions, sincerity and pure heart. Well, I've grown up, even though I'm heartbroken. But I know that good life experiences are often earned at a loss.
