In a small provincial town is preparing to start an annual competition of oil sculptures. Winning it is the main and permanent achievement of bitchy housewife Laura Pickler. Suddenly, she has a talented rival in the form of an eight-year-old African-American girl Destiny, recently adopted and moved into a new family. And now the town will shudder, for Laura will stop at nothing to keep the palm of primacy. However, she will have to sweat, because more original participants will participate in the competition. . .
Why do I love and recommend this movie?
He's wonderful. Excellent melodrama with comedic-dramatic notes. Like a refreshing lemonade on a hot day. I’m surprised how few people have heard of this movie and how low it is. Although there is an unbanal plot, and mega-beautiful actors (almost all are celebrities), and good humor, and a juicy picture, sunny as oil. And a separate 'wow' actually oil sculptures and competition, because they are given a lot of attention. The process of creation is shown very well, before the film I knew it was possible.
The film is absolutely wonderful, it will perfectly fit into the family-romantic-party viewing. Have I mentioned actors yet? Just look at the composition and all doubts on viewing will disappear.
If you want to cheer up and get wonderful, bright emotions, here you go.
Feature.
Thanks to Olivia Wilde and her stripper heroine, the film is not recommended for viewing with very young children. But everyone else will enjoy it.
I watched the movie Like Butter a few days ago, and for some reason I don’t understand, it doesn’t get out of my mind. If you discard morality and moral clichés, then watching it is easy and pleasant. This movie makes fun of you. Loud. Unrestrained. Brash. Absolutely all the vices of human society, especially American, inclined to dream of unrealizable and broad steps to go towards success. Stumbling over little black girls from an orphanage, and even trying to step over them.
The film tells about some residents of a provincial town, which I would compare with the legendary Springfield from the notorious “Simpsons”. The level of development of the average resident of this city corresponds to cartoon characters, so you should not expect much from them. However, they made me laugh, and in some moments even caused sympathy and empathy. The characters are very charismatic, strong even in their stupidity, vulgarity and lack of will, who reached the very peak of hypertrophiedness of their vices, and I liked this move.
Especially I would like to note Olivia Wilde in the role of absolutely crazy stripper, who introduced unique colors into the storylines, appearing in them absolutely unexpectedly and out of place. In general, the film is funny, in some ways even instructive, if you look for morality. But I don't recommend it. Laugh, loudly and heartily, as they laugh at the grotesque, at the ridiculous costumes of modern designers, at caricatures, the purpose of which is not to reflect the reality of the modern world, but to consider its shortcomings under the magnifying glass, changing filters to highlight the main ones.
Butter is harmful to the body, watching this movie too.
For a very long time postponed this film in a long box, despite the fact that it was included in many collections of mandatory viewing. And to be honest, I wouldn’t watch as much. The only advantage of this film is that it goes 1.20.
But let's start in order. In general, when I choose which movie to watch, I try not to read what the film is about (so interesting), but guided by 4 indicators:
1. Gener. This is the most important point, because you choose the movie to suit your mood. And in this case, the "comedy" position suited me quite well. In fact, there was nothing funny about this movie.
2. Name. The item is not the most important, but the most attractive, because it is the name that the eye falls first. It's like bright packaging on store shelves. Often the film with one title shouts "See Me!"
“As in oil” the name is not screaming, but as it turned out, directly speaking. Actually, initially I thought it was a motivating comedy style, where somebody doesn't do something, and then ta-da-m and he's a superstar. In fact, in this film, such a note is also traced, but is not fundamental to the entire composition.
3. The cast. Agree, an important criterion. Already on a subconscious level, we conclude that if the actors are famous, then the film should be good, they say they will not act in some heresy.
And of course, this movie caught my eye. But how wrong I was... It is not clear how Hugh Jackman agreed to the role of some uneducated villager obsessed with sex. Totally stupid character. And the role of Olivia Wilde seems to have been written entirely by accident. It was as if she had just walked in from the street and asked. Is there a role for me? Sure! Play a prostitute!
In general, all the characters of this film are ridiculous, absurd. It is completely unclear why they are introduced into the storyline, what their main task is and what they should convey to the viewer. In general, che-poo-ha.
4. And the last point is reviews. I always pay attention to the rating of the film, but I do not always agree with it. It often happens that the evaluation of a film is overestimated, well, or some film was underestimated. In principle, with the assessment of this film, I probably agree. He can not be called genius, but you can not call him terrible, quite such a medium. Personally, I gave him a five.
In general, to summarize all the above, this film is clearly not for viewing with the company or with the other half. It is more suitable as a background noise when you do household chores, because you do not need to delve into it, and if you miss something, you will not lose anything. So, make a choice for yourself, whether to slag your brain with such films or adhere to a healthy lifestyle.
Contest as a moment in the life of a small American town
Jim Field Smith is still a young specialist in the chair of the main director, he is gradually gaining experience and he was only 32 years old when he shot the melodrama “As in the oil”, which, you will agree, by directorial standards, is quite a young age. I agree that some geniuses even before 30 began to shoot thundering hits, but they are geniuses, and Jim Field Smith is an aspiring, as they say, promising director-director, however, while he did not achieve special heights in this field with full-length films, after all, his “Like in oil” and “Too cool for you” received a fair share of criticism. But the viewer of his paintings was found, so we will see, perhaps Jim Field Smith will still please the cinematic audience.
“Like the butter” tells the story of a small black girl Destiny, that is, Destiny (young actress Yara Shahidi). She is always in other families because her mother is unable to provide for her. Destiny is a sweet, touching and over-age smart girl, a real angel. And now she finds herself in a new family, consisting of Ethan (Rob Cordry) and Jill (very happy to see ex-Batgirl Alicia Silverstone again on the screen!). It turns out that these are two very nice people and the best family for Destiny is difficult to find. They live in a small town where everyone wants to run a lady with great conceit, Laura (Jennifer Garner). Her husband Bob (Tai Burrell) is the winner of a competition for the manufacture of sculptures from oil (something similar to the statues of people). But in the end, his wife’s domineering gets bored and he refuses to go to another annual contest. Laura can't stand it and declares herself there. Suddenly, Laura gets a worthy rival - just our wonderful Destiny.
Against the background of the history of Destiny, you can see the life of a small town where everyone knows each other, but everyone keeps their secrets, their problems. No, there will be no deep dramaturgy here, everything will be exaggerated, there will be no serious conflicts here, there will be no battle of interests, few people will clarify relations, this is really a film about a small episode from the life of the suburbs. Some may even recognize themselves in this way. A lot of people would like to think of themselves as Ethan and Jill, as people with an open heart and a pure soul, but there are also people who drive everyone mad like Laura. Despite the fact that “Like Butter” is a purely American movie about Americans, but we can also learn something in this tape, for example, unselfish kindness and how one child can make adults finally stop acting like idiots.
All the good nature of the picture is formed not only in the characters, where the screenwriter Jason A. Mikallef laid it, but also in how the actors portrayed it. Yara Shahidi, of course, coped with her role at the highest level. Maybe she’s smart, talented, sweet and kind? If so, I am very happy for her parents. I remember wanting to give the back of my head to Rob Cordry in Harold and Kumar. Escape from Guantanamo because he was a complete idiot. It seemed like nothing could lift him in my eyes, but Ethan appeared from "As in the oil" and the actor again gained a positive "weight". A wonderful father would come out of Cordry's hero. So is the mother from Alicia Silverstone. I haven’t seen it on the screen for a long time and was so happy to see it again. And she played so that her Jill turned out to be a pretty and generally pleasant woman.
To be honest, until I found strong roles from Jennifer Garner, I still see horror in the form of the comic book Electra, only Daredevil reminisces about Garner. In this film, her character Laura begins to annoy from the first second. And all of a sudden, I began to understand what was upsetting, not like the heroine, but like Garner's poorly constructed image: what was driving her, why was she acting like a female dog, what was her inferiority complex? In general, the image left many questions. And the final scene with Laura didn't brighten up the ambivalent feeling of playing Garner. Olivia Wilde was given another sex diva, her appearance in a tight-fitting t-shirt without a bra is the most spectacular scene in the picture, but it is only a pity that Wilde constantly wants to see her in the role of seductive persons, and the actress is more diverse and “Tron: Legacy” and “Third Person” prove this. And then there's Ty Burrell and Ashley Green, who played their roles quite naturally. There is Hugh Jackman in the cameo.
In general, if you have time, you can watch "As in the butter", the mark "viewed" will appear, but it is unlikely that he will leave much behind in memory, except that everything in it says that everyone is more important and more expensive, everyone is trusting and stricter in this world of kindness.
I started watching this movie because of Alicia Silverstone. If it weren’t for her, she probably wouldn’t have heard of this movie. Determining the genre, personally to me, is quite difficult. A children's story about how an orphan girl got what she wanted? Yes, it seems no - interfere with different completely "non-childish" themes and jokes. A romantic comedy? Not again. Romance and love, as such, is not enough. Sparkling adult comedy with sex jokes? It doesn't seem to fit very well either. Because there is a sexual theme, but somehow little. Sometimes it appears when the heroine appears on the screen, this theme personifies.
Overall, the film was not bad. It's a good story. In some places there are interesting pleasant jokes, sometimes jokes on the verge of "for adults." But, about the twentieth minute of the film, you realize that this is a picture of those that “necessarily end well.” I didn’t see the originality in the story. The main thing is to surprise the viewer. Personally, this movie did not surprise me. Well, no. I was surprised at what Silverstone looks like. It seems that now from that insanely sexy girl-torva from the clips of “Aerosmith” or the seductive and forbidden beauty from “Hobbery” there is not a trace. Time spares no one. So is this painting. Very, very soon new pictures will completely erase my memories of this film. Which says very well that the film is passing.
Then God sends angels to Earth, where dinosaur bones were found.
The film tells a story wrapped around butter! Well, there is also morality, humor, politics, strange sculptures and Olivia Weld playing a prostitute.
In one small American town, an oil sculpture competition is held annually. At the upcoming jury decides that it is time for the champion, who founded this strange tradition and won the first prize annually, to take a place among them and give way to the young. But his wife (Jennifer Garner), who has supported him in this business all her life, does not intend to give up the palm of the championship and decides to take a personal part in the competition so that their name is always associated with this victory. The competition is a small but talented black orphan. Meanwhile, the family life of the main characters goes downhill: the teenage daughter does not obey, the husband, cooled to his wife, gets into a bind with a dancer from a local strip bar.
From watching I got a great pleasure, from part, it is the merit of casting. Words cannot describe how well the actors were selected for the roles. In my opinion, this is the best role ever played by Jennifer Garner. I don't really like this actress, but in the comedic role of an obsessed bitch, she's amazing! Thirteenth looks even cooler in the role of a local stripper-prostitute, every appearance in the frame and a line is an atas!! It's a shame that she rarely plays in comedies. Everyone was pleased, including the small roles of the vampire Ashley Green and Wolverine Hugh Jackman (his prayer with gratitude to God for sex is something).
The film was directed by Jim Field Smith, who previously directed the film Too Cool for You, which, by the way, is also beloved by me. Someone will say that everything is banal and everything is clear in advance, but the pleasure of watching because of this does not almost decrease. It is a pity that the film was limited release, and did not reach Russia at all.
This film essentially consists of a set of stamps of American low-grade Hollywood cinema. Therefore, it is not surprising that the film “As in the oil” tops the list of the most unprofitable films of the U.S. distribution, which collected $ 105 thousand with a budget of $ 25 million. Given the fact that there are no special effects or any other action in the film, it is difficult to imagine where so much money went in the absence of stars of world magnitude. Of course, we do not consider the very average Jennifer Garner and the experienced Alicia Silverstone. Silverstone at 34 (at the time of the film) looks no less than 45! The same Garner at 39 looks much better and fresher. Except that the budget “went” on a bunch of oil, and it is unlikely that this oil, because they make it, judging by their clothes, not in the refrigerator, as the film says, but simply in some enclosed glass rooms. A person cannot work with butter in one T-shirt or blouse when working in the refrigerator. Then either it is not a refrigerator and the oil should melt, or it is a refrigerator, but all actors are like picking walruses.
In general, a nasty movie, consisting of many Hollywood cliches. For example, the main character is a poor black girl who went to an orphanage because her mother refused her. Of course, history is silent about why she refused, but sometimes blacks in America, especially those living on welfare, it happens as a result of unwanted pregnancy, unwillingness to spend money on another child (the mother already had one child), drug addiction, alcoholism. But they still breed to increase this benefit, so do not take the story of the girl to heart. She's not too upset. How many times in the film did she refer to white people as “white,” as if it were white people who came into her world and flooded it. It is noteworthy that when white people are called “white”, they have nothing against it, because it is true, but when black people are called “black”, they are offended because they want to be like white people.
Olivia Wilde, who was the reason I watched the movie, was not impressed. She again tried to make a loose girl, as, for example, in the film “Blackbird”. In the movie “Like the oil” she plays a stripper. She doesn’t fit all those roles, she just doesn’t fit in. Despite the fact that she is very attractive, she has a small chest, thin physique, outstanding cheekbones, deeply planted eyes, in short, she needs to play women refined, stylish, charming, moderately fragile. Things from the “bad girls” look on her like an ugly teenage girl who “broke up” to her mother’s closet.
And in this movie, they applaud, and they gasp! Destiny's whole film and especially towards the end shows an artificial friendliness towards "those weird whites." All the more disgusting the fact that Laura still gave up and at the end of the film to everyone’s approval moved and hugged little Destiny. Touche.
Stupid film with a huge budget, inexplicably spent, consisting entirely of negative Hollywood clichés, apparently aimed at promoting tolerance of evil whites towards friendly blacks. And why is Hugh Jackman here? However, he is pleased: $2M for a cameo role is a freebie, like the whole film in fact. And this is not even a comedy: in this film there is nothing funny, but unpleasant a lot.
It’s one of those movies that you pass by. His score is not even 0 out of 10, but something like -5, you still have to try to remove 0.
"Like the butter" - a wonderful comedy directed by Jim Field Smith. For Jim, this is his second full-length film. The young director is not very active in his work. In 2010, he directed the comedy Too Cool for You, a completely ridiculous, boring and not funny comedy, against its background a comedy melodrama. Like butter, looks much better and more attractive. I would even say that this film is a clear progression in the direction of Jim Field Smith. The movie is interesting, informative and funny, that is, there is something to praise it for. Interesting characters did not let you get bored, the acting was at a decent level. Jennifer Garner loves this kind of movie, and this type of movie loves her, so it is not strange that she is constantly starring in such films.
The plot of the film tells about a small town, which is famous for one very rare craft - carving sculptures from butter. There are many positive components in this film, so wherever you look, you feel the positivity and quality that affects everyone. I didn’t think I would be so happy after watching. In addition to comedy, there is also melodrama. And if you start to recall all the local comedy moments, you can come to the conclusion that the film is very poor in its declared genre. All the funniest created by Olivia Wilde in the image of stripper Brooks. This film is only for one viewing, and without oil it would not be so interesting.
Here is the slogan of the film, completely opens the cards to the viewer, hinting at what he will see in this film. There are many heroes here, and each of them has its own goals. Someone is trying to win the competition, someone is taking revenge, and someone is just watching beautiful, talentedly carved sculptures from oil. Immediately striking is the simplicity and ease of the picture. The comedy written by screenwriter Jason A. Mikallef is as light as a fluff (in terms of perception). For some reason I am sure that the comedy "As in the oil", quickly lost among its kind. This is a very inconspicuous picture, there are many of them now. The only thing that was original here was oil sculptures, and the feature was the acting of Olivia Wilde. A wonderful film, very interesting and sometimes funny, and the sculptures of oil are just superb.
I liked it. The film is kind and should instill a portion of good in everyone who watched it.
I would not say that the film is for family viewing, with all its swearing and striptease.
The movie’s tagline is “A Comedy About Sex, Power and Wealth.” That's exactly what it is.
I want to celebrate the characters. I really like the characters.
Powerful, uncompromising Laura, ready to achieve everything she wants by any means. A softer, less agile husband, Bob. Little orphan girl Destainy is perhaps the most adequate person in this film, very kind, human and talented. Her adoptive parents, Julie and Ethan, are trying their best to make their girl in the new family as comfortable as possible. Brooke is a brazen, vindictive stripper. Caitlin is Bob’s daughter, a teenager with her strange outlook on life who hates her stepmother Laura. Bolton is stupid.
I can't help but mention the actors. Great game. Everyone. It was really good.
Jennifer Garner (Laura) was surprised when I tried to ignore her. The same role suits her very well. Alicia Silverstone (Julie) was just as happy, it's nice to see her again. Olivia Wilde (Brook) joined the ranks of actresses who performed striptease in front of the camera, her character is one of the funniest in the film, daring, provocative, crazy. That's what I was really counting on, so it's Ashley Green. I still believe that a girl has the prerequisites to become a good actress. She may not be a great drama actress, but she is perfect for a career in comedy. And she made me very, very happy here. She doesn't have much screen time, but she did. I have no idea where Hugh Jackman (Bolton) came in. It's funny. His character is one of the most comical, although he appears only in a couple of scenes. Such a fool. Hugh with his inhuman charm plays a fool.
Oil. All passions develop against the background of a competition for carving figures from oil. My attitude to it hasn’t changed since I found out about the movie, and Ethan said it at the end, ‘You know what, you people are ridiculous! It's butter! They spread it on bread! So, the truth is, more materials in nature for this does not exist similarly. But come on, weirdness in this movie at every turn.
I recommend the movie. Easy movie for relaxation. This film is not a great work of cinema, but it is not second-rate. I love movies like that.
A slice of American society in the original wrapper
In action, a favorite technique of independent and independent directors, consisting in two simple rules: extremely unusual, and most often just strange characters who exist in several storylines, and sometimes space-time continuums, as they themselves believe. That's why they dance. So does the debutant in the big movie director Jim Field Smith, whose first big work was released in 2010. But he does so only at first glance, but if you arm yourself with a magnifying glass (although in this case even it is not necessary), but look closely, then all sorts of Hollywood stamps will come out, which, however, are packed in a beautiful wrapper with the original bow.
There's a black girl who will naturally make all these funny white people. But this girl is somehow one of a kind, well, for some reason there are no more black people in Field Smith's Iowa. And even a classmate asks her, "Do you know black people?" And for the better effect, this girl is also an orphan, and fate throws her from family to family, none of which ever dares to adopt, or vice versa - the guardianship authorities do not dare to give this cute treasure to another lonely drug addict.
There is also the crazy Pickler family, where Bob, performed by Tai Burella, instead of playing the role of the head of the family, plays the role of hen heel, quiet and generally sluggish in the course of life smear. But his wife Laura, played by the gorgeous Jennifer Garner, is something incredible. She never wants to miss any of her own benefits and hates to lose, using any means to win, be in competition even a 10-year-old girl. There are Picklers and daughter Kathleen played by Ashley Green, who supports the well-known stereotype that all American girls in college lead a promiscuous sex life, experimenting right and left.
A separate delight is the heroine of the bodily Olivia Wilde. She not only performed in the best erotic traditions of Demi Moore and Natalie Portman, but also just a devilishly beautiful hurricane swept through the scenes assigned to her. And how incredibly funny she looks with her scorching beauty on the bike, on which she moves through life.
But back to the main character - a cute black girl Destiny. She was finally lucky with the parents who adopted her, and was much more fortunate with her family than the aforementioned Caitlin. True, Alicia Silverstone, who played her new mother, though beautiful, but throughout the film managed to portray only three emotions: frustration and regret with sad eyes and lowered corners of the lips, a radiant American smile all over the screen and some incomprehensible emotion, which she portrayed with the help of eyebrows house and curved lips.
So, the baby has an unusual artistic talent: it is very cool that she is able to cut figures out of... you won’t believe it – out of oil. No, she, as it turns out, draws very well, for sure, and other things like that she knows how to make plasticine, for example, something to sculpt, but for some reason, instead of, for example, drawing pictures and making a lot of money on this, she decides to compete in some village competition for carving oil sculptures. The human imagination is limitless, that's for sure. It is fair to say that the sculptures shown in the film are really beautiful, and sometimes just masterpieces. Who made all of them, I wonder?
And this oil in their town is very tied up. So much so that the local oil kings, just the same Picklers, are wildly popular, collect entire halls and even want to run for mayor. But oil is unlimited power, so it has its own cruel laws, and Bob Pickler has to make room to give others a chance, but this, as you can see, does not agree with his wife, who will go to the end to preserve his oil power. Olivia Wilde’s heroine will come to the same competition, becoming the only bright spot among all these people. This is a strange town, strange in all the precepts of arthouse comedies.
Special thanks to the creators for the appearance in the film incomparable Hugh Jackman, received for a small role as much as two million dollars. He has worked them full, though. He appeared very spectacularly, and then also played a half-idiot in a cowboy hat, which even a small and simple speech can not remember without a piece of paper. The scene of his monologue is beautiful. Also, this scene once again shows the schizoid nature of their town.
What's the movie about? He seems to ridicule the American society, desperate for power, mired in the abyss of sex and debauchery, and also arranges every year more idiotic competitions and makes idols of no one. A bit exaggerated, but, in general, exactly so. Here is the problem of the conflict of career and children: often a husband and wife have good jobs, a large house, four garages and three cars, but they never made children, or scored on them so much that as a result there are teenagers who are fed up and want everyone to die.
It is also a film about the fact that everyone has their own talents, their own credo and vocation. You need to take advantage of the opportunities that heaven has given you, but not dwell on one thing, considering it all that you have. You need to look wider and see not only what is lying at your feet. In addition, you need to understand that a victory obtained by an unfair way is no longer considered a victory, and it will be quite difficult to achieve victory in this way.
Throughout the plot, the black girl brazenly and skillfully pulls the blanket of the main character with Jennifer Garner on herself. A little comical and strained looks the finale of the picture, where an unambiguous and unconditional victory is won by good and justice, but the conditional “evil” does not get what it deserves, but is sent to the path by the true forces of good in the face of a black girl. Here's the thing.
The desire of a person to be the best at anything, often crosses all permissible boundaries and leads to real madness. Especially if we are talking about residents of a small provincial town, where the space for creativity and self-realization is almost at zero. About one of these towns and will be discussed in the new movie Jim Field Smith “As oil”, which in the original is listed simply as “Oil”. Oddly enough, but the Russian translation of the name, perfectly emphasizes the ambiguity of the picture.
It all starts with another competition of oil sculptures, which takes place in one of the small towns in the Midwest. There is practically no other entertainment here, so winning the competition is equated with the thirteenth feat of Hercules. But everything good has the property of annoying. For several years, the outcome looks painfully predictable: similar figures, one winner and no intrigue. However, this time the contestant becomes a talented little girl who lives with her adoptive parents and works miracles with an ordinary piece of butter. Finally, the city has at least something original and interesting, but the winner of previous competitions, is not going to give the palm to someone else, which entails a number of conflicts and funny situations.
“As in oil” – the movie is quite simple and easy to perceive. There is no overloaded storyline, toilet humor and template dialogues that are designed to double timekeeping. There are no deep images and great morality, but it is still interesting to watch. First, the picture remains honest in front of the audience and does not position itself as the top of cinema (as it is now fashionable), and secondly, a great variety of characters, each of which is unique in its own way. Thirdly, watching the process of making oil sculptures is incredibly interesting and even fascinating.
In other words, it turned out to be a great light comedy, with a very good idea and its competent further implementation. In addition, the lack of template American humor and especially “soapy” moments – went to the tape exclusively for the benefit.
7 out of 10
All kinds of competitions - the possibility of influencing the minds of the public. Many are so flirting that victory equals their well-being and further career growth, and loss is oblivion.
The Pickler family became famous due to the fact that the head of the family, Bob, cuts magnificent figures from oil, invariably winning the traditional talent contest. The couple are considering their bright future, but Boba is prohibited from taking further part in the competition. He goes off to a party, and his wife has nothing left but to take up the creation of figures herself.
Jim Field Smith is the creator of the controversial, but not bad picture Too Cool for You. His new project is an attempt to talk about traditions, attitudes and ways of solving problems in small cities. The director tries to tell not one, but several stories at once, but his little experience in directing does not allow him to turn around. The picture turned out in Smith interesting, but somewhat crumpled.
Debutant Mikallef tried to fill the plot with as many characters as possible. Because of this, the picture seems unfinished and too superficial. The characters, for the most part, are spelled out schematically, and the plot moves seem squeezed out of the finger.
It seems that actors were invited to take part in a project of old friendship. In fact, there is nothing to play in the picture.
"Like the butter" is a satire film that is afraid to say anything its authors want. The attempt is commendable, the implementation is mediocre.
The film “As in the oil” did not receive much publicity in the press. All that was known is that a huge number of stars starred in the main roles, and the director is Jim Field Smith, who directed the film Too Cool for You.
The plot revolves around a woman who decided to take part in a competition for carving figures from oil.
However, watching this competition for an hour and a half was boring.
But this does not mean that the film will not be a true entertainment for many moviegoers. Several times I couldn’t even hear the conversations in the film because of the audience’s laughter. Garner, Wilde, Shaal and Shahidi did a mountainous job in order to make this tape a comedy.
Operating work, editing, soundtrack are also within expectations due to good funding.
In conclusion, I went to the cinema hoping to be surprised, in a good way, by the film. In the end, I was neither surprised nor disappointed. The movie is for amateurs, but I would advise everyone to watch it.
