A movie I'll never forget. I never thought it would be difficult for me to find the words to describe the film. I really can't find words, in a good way.
I do not really like thrillers, as such, and I treat the genre of psychological thriller very carefully, because the human psyche is a fragile thing, and not everyone can bear it. This is just such a film in which a line is clearly drawn at which the psyche of the viewer can break.
Intimidation, emotional blackmail, pressure are the ways in which a killer maniac acts on his victim. Any father will go to any length to protect his child, and Richard does his best to do so, but that’s at first sight.
An exemplary father who worries about a child's mental state after his wife's death is all perfect, but is that really true? It then becomes clear that the child is actually single, and that the parents did not give Sarah proper attention.
It becomes clear that Richard is no different from Ebner. Who broke into the house without checking anything and killed two people.
The script is structured so that up to the last moment you wonder who really killed the boy, where Richard’s wife and the girl went. I guessed it a little earlier, after the scene with a glass, but I will not reveal secrets.
Sakis Ruvas is a favorite singer and now a favorite actor. A very difficult role that not everyone can do. Not everyone will. An actor after such a role can simply break, and he played. And I played so that for the time of the film, I forgot that he was a singer, and I believed that he was a killer maniac. He played as it should have been. He played it in a way that looked natural. He got used to the role of Ebner, and convinced me as a spectator. Great acting work.
In general, it is a very good film, you can see that the writers, directors, producers, actors - the whole crew gave everything 200%. I loved it even though it was emotionally difficult. This movie is worth it, believe me.
But if you have a weak psyche, it is better not to watch "Coercion". You will not be able to sleep peacefully at night. You will never forget this movie.
