Lyrical comedy, melodrama - these are not the genres that I type in the search engine, wanting to see a new film, and will never go to a lyrical comedy or melodrama in the theater. Usually everything is clear in advance: a man and a woman meet, fall in love, then they are prevented from being together by all sorts of obstacles (mainly their own, obvious to an outside observer, stupidity) and finally - a prerequisite - happy ending! The film “My boyfriend is crazy” is no exception – the plot is exactly the same.
Watching this movie was not boring. What's the reason? I loved the performance of the actors, first of all, of course, Robert De Niro never spoils the furrows. In recent years, he has played eccentric dads. His older Pat is quite a whole character: energetic, gambling, in his own way, loving his family man. He has lived his life and thinks he knows what is best for his son. Failure doesn't stop him. Such a man must be able to break the psyche of a son softer than he is. Jackie Weaver played very well. Such a caring, often silent and naive wife could get along with such a husband for so many years. She is very touching in the role of a mother who is worried about her beloved son and does not know how she could help him. Other characters are played at a high level and create a harmonious ensemble.
With the main characters, it was not so simple. And Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence are very good actors. It's always nice to see them on screen. But I thought Bradley Cooper wasn't quite handsome enough to be a schoolteacher. Or it had to be a benevolent, successful person (which he becomes suddenly at the end of the film, as if by magic) rather than an aggressive, uncontrollable lunatic. If he’s crazy, how does he deal with kids? It requires nerves of iron and patience and infinite goodwill. And if he had been that way before, where did he get his reckless aggressiveness when he beat his wife's lover, rather brutally? And so it did not spread to his wife, she is just a saint to him, and to all the others (even mother and father) – only touch. The behavior of the wife is also strange - cheated on her husband, which brought him to a psychiatric clinic, and does not feel guilty at all, even if she apologized or something. The whole situation seemed strange to me. Jennifer Lawrence seemed to me not like a crazy person or a confused person, on the contrary, a very calculating, sensible girl. If you like a guy, and even if he's crazy, if you need him, you need to act like her. Purposefully moves towards his goal, despite any difficulties, he approaches the task inventively. Well done. And then they say that she is psychotic, not in control. It doesn't fit together. We are shown that people in an instant became opposites to themselves. It doesn't happen. This caused a slight feeling of bewilderment, and in general, the actors, in these circumstances, play well, created a beautiful ensemble.
I read after watching the film that it was based on a book, which may explain inconsistencies in the script, sudden insights of the main characters, the appearance of characters not necessary for the plot. Those who have read the book must have observed the development of characters in dynamics. But again, the movie was interesting to watch. I always want everything to be good, in life it does not always turn out that we have?
In the film caught the simplicity of the narrative. The home atmosphere, the story told in the film, looks clear and charming, as if mom and dad were telling their love story. The characters, like the rest of us, are a little fucked up. Nervous seizures, unreasonable actions, unclear hobbies, traditions and the very way of life. It is so clear and realistic that fiction is shaded.
And Jennifer Lawrence looked adorable in that movie. The atmosphere of mystery and madness is combined with grace and love. It's something. She fights for her love as Scarlett fought in Gone with the Wind, but only in a household way. Love is so limitless that it saves every character in the film.
I ordered cornflakes so I wouldn't confuse a regular dinner with a date.
This is the first time I'm writing a review, so don't judge harshly.
I've been postponing watching this movie for a long time because of the title. "My Psycho Guy" was associated with the image of a typical American romantic comedy that carries no meaning. What I can say is thank you to our localizers. However, just recently I decided to read Matthew Quick’s Silver Ray of Hope and then watch the film adaptation. I have no regrets!
Directed by David O. Russell, who directed such wonderful films as “Fighter” and “American Hustle”, tried to bring all the soulfulness and emotionality of the book into the film, and he did it perfectly.
The cast is so pleasing to the eye.
Bradley Cooper coped well with his role as "a former teacher with a mental disorder." Jennifer Lawrence was pleased with the game, although to be honest, it didn’t particularly impress me before.
The whole picture is accompanied by a wonderful soundtrack, which perfectly combines with the atmosphere of the film.
“My Psych Boyfriend” has a relaxed and light humor, which I really liked.
Personally, I am impressed, the film left bright and positive emotions that will remain for a long time.
"The impossible must be done." You have to work hard. And if you succeed, you are positive, you have a ray of hope.

It is unlikely that the original title of the film "Silver Linings Playbook" translated into our language means "My boyfriend is crazy." But this is not the first time that our customers have surprised us. And in our title there is a plus – the picture will clearly pay attention to the viewer, because it has a pronounced and unambiguous word “psych”, and with such a star cast as in this film, it will be interesting to know who this “psych” is.
And the psycho will be Bradley Cooper's character named Pat. After Pat catches his wife, a teacher (he was also a teacher) with lovers in his mind something went wrong. But this is not a state of affect, when you see the threat of infidelity in any woman, Pat became fixated on his wife, who, by the way, divorced him shortly after this situation happened, and Pat himself decided to be sent for treatment in a psychiatric hospital. Returning to his native foetuses, Pat cherishes the hope of returning his ex-wife, believing that this will help to send them back to normal and everyone will be happy again. It's a pity only he thinks so. Even his family is wary of Pat. But getting to know Tiffany (Jennifer Lawrence) in his own way returns Pat to a normal existence and this is facilitated by the dance that Pat learns with Tiffany to perform in the competition. True, Pat began to do this not because of his sympathy for dancing or for Tiffany, but they together will help Pat find himself again.
Director David O. Russell became famous when he released the independent sports drama “The Fighter” overnight turned into both a masterpiece and almost the biggest surprise of the year. For his work, David O. Russell received his first Oscar nomination in the Best Director category. After that, he will become a regular at the most prestigious film awards, including the melodrama “My boyfriend is crazy” (later this fate will not bypass David O. Russell and his new film “American Hustle”, where again he will work with Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence; and the film “Love Problem” should not be taken into account, despite its recent premiere, the film actually lay on the shelf for a long time and only now released). “My boyfriend is a psycho” was so liked by the jury of the “Golden Knight” that the picture received as many as 8 nominations at once, becoming one of the most nominated films, however, only one was received – Jennifer Lawrence from the second time received the coveted statuette for the best female role (the first time was noted in 2011 for the film “Winter Bone”).
It should be noted the trend that not only David O. Russell, as well as Lawrence, who joined his triumphant step, are now regular Oscar contestants, but also Bradley Cooper. He hasn't been awarded yet, but it could have happened for his role as Pat in the movie "My Boy Is a Psycho." In general, he trumped his ability to show a deeply depressed person locked in his problems (in the same year when this film was released, he demonstrated something similar in the drama “Words”). In the role of Pat, you empathize with the broken Pat, and his aggression splashed out a couple of times, under the microscope is not a direct reference to his condition, rather, it was his environment that created the unbearable conditions with which Pat so desperately fought.
In general, in the film “My boyfriend is crazy” quite charismatic personalities. For example, even Pat’s doctor, performed by Anupam Kher, will be an important character in a couple of episodes, which makes the film well-recorded (David O. Russell was also responsible for the plot). Chris Tucker will also show up with his unique charisma and make a mess in his own way. Honestly, I had a Homeric laugh caused by the character of Robert De Niro, who once again proved that it is still very early to write off and wrote in his biography another brilliant image. It is worth admitting that I do not belong to the fans of Jennifer Lawrence, but I will pay tribute to her expressive heroine, because you understand that only her perseverance and originality could save Pat from the psychological pit and isolation. And I'll also point out that its plasticity is amazing. I don't know what, but something about Jennifer Lawrence is bewitching. Here is such a colorful company picked up in the film “My boyfriend is crazy” and it is interesting to follow his action.
Director David O. Russell, as well as actors Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence once again showed that they are in favor, and also showed why they are so close attention and respect from critics and love from the audience. In general, fans of the director and actors must watch, and if you are not such and are suspicious of the Oscars, then still do not spare time to watch and, perhaps, your point of view will change a little.
Honestly, I didn't expect that from this movie. It was something. The atmosphere is unique and unique. There is humor, irony and notes of melodrama - in general, everything that the average viewer loves (although there are people who did not like the film). Well, let's get started.
Directing by David O. Russell was a delight. Everything looked fresh and cheerful, so that I want to catch every frame.
The cast can be safely called stellar.Bradley Cooper (Bachelor Party in Vegasus) flawlessly entered the image of the main character and played excellent.Jennifer Lawrence (The Hunger Games) harmoniously complemented Cooper. They got the perfect tandem. Here also Robert de Niro (Raging Bull) with his signature game fit in for complete happiness. A small but bright role in the performance of Chris Tucker (Rush Hour) makes you laugh from the heart.
The idea of the film takes for a living (I will not spoil, look - you will find out everything yourself). )
In the atmosphere of the film deepen quality soundtracks.

Sweet, kind, touching, funny, ironic. Everyone must watch!
Pat (Bradley Cooper), a former school teacher suffering from bouts of uncontrollable rage, has been discharged from a mental hospital. His wife cheated on him and thus provoked a breakdown, but Pat, having carefully considered everything, came to the conclusion that both spouses were to blame for the collapse of the marriage. Now he is determined to reciprocate with his ex-wife and live a happy family life again. One thing is that he has a court injunction to approach his beloved, and there is no one to ask for help. But then Tiffany (Jennifer Lawrence) appears in his life, offering her help in exchange for participating in a dance contest. Tiffany lost her husband and was forced to undergo psychiatric treatment. “To understand my nuts, you have to do something crazy yourself,” Pat says. For every crazy person there is a crazy one, says the slogan of the film.
Bradley Cooper is amazingly good in this movie. His fits of rage look very convincing, and the reactions to mundane things and the questions Pat asks seem not only crazy, but also interesting (what is worth the scene parsing works of Hemingway). Moreover, his appearance quite well translates what is done inside him (running in a plastic bag also gives a certain eccentricity). Pat decides to be an optimist, and this decision brings lightness and kindness to the film. A person has decided to grow, develop, strive to become better – let him do it peculiarly, but the main thing is that he succeeds. Cooper is perfectly able to show all the metamorphoses that occur with Pat.
In turn, and in Jennifer Lawrence, which I remember from the film "American Hustle", there is a crazy woman. She is a multifaceted actress who can try on completely different roles. Her Tiffany looks desperate and lost at first, but then finds a goal and goes to her, very femininely defending her right to be happy. In general, Lawrence deservedly received her Oscar for this role.
In fact, Pat lives in a rather strange family. For example, his father (Robert De Niro) is an obsessive superstitious gambler, so Pat had someone to inherit his psychosis from. De Niro perfectly conveyed the excitement of an old player who loves his son and wishes him well. I know you won't listen to your father, I didn't listen either, but you have to look at the signs. When such a moment comes in life, it is a sin not to take advantage of it. It’s a curse that will haunt you for the rest of your life if you don’t seize your chance, De Niro’s character tells his son.
Definitely, Tiffany and Pat's relationship looks strange to those around them. But they and their psychoses are more free than their normal friends. They say what they think, declare their feelings and problems, not hide them inside. And it brings them together, teaches them to hear each other and respect each other's feelings.
A great cast, a romantic plot and good directing have done their job - before us a movie that charges optimism, gives you a thought about your attitude to other people and motivates you to achieve and improve yourself.
Normally, I don’t like melodramas very much, but I decided to watch this movie because of a lot of positive reviews. In the end, I was both happy and somewhat disappointed.
At the center of the script is a very simple, but at the same time quite touching story. Pat is discharged from the hospital after a nervous breakdown that occurred after the infidelity of his wife. Since then, he has managed to forgive her and wants to try to restore the relationship, but the injunction and fame of the madman do not allow him to do so. And then he meets another lost soul, suffering after the death of her husband Tiffany. And although at first they can not find a common language, but this communication allows them to more easily survive their losses.
The film above all pleases the smallest details, everyday life and the difficulties of returning to society are shown in it with sincere understanding and sympathy. Great dialogue allows you to better understand the relationship between the characters. The disadvantages include excessive tightness and a blurred ending.
But the picture is remembered primarily by the main characters. Bradley Cooper perfectly conveys the suffering of the character and his obsession, and his desire to become like everyone else. But Jennifer Lawrence overshadows him, so powerful and convincing was the image she created. Of the secondary roles can be noted Robert De Niro and annoying Chris Tucker.
My crazy boyfriend is a good movie, but you should not expect any revelations from him.
The very feeling when after reading the work, you want to see how it was possible to film it, what and how to reflect in the characters, in the plot, all the little things ... but instead for the first 10 minutes you wonder - what is it?! And it's like you're being dragged into a completely different scenario, not something that's still fresh and crusty. Okay, OK, call it a different name, and in principle in the Russian box office it is even welcome, but the stated “made based on Matthew Quick’s novel “Silver Ray of Hope”" – nothing like that.”
Evaluation - disappointment with what was taken out of the book. Putting emotions down in the right moments, inserting them in other episodes, adding completely different characters with a different temper and story is powerful. But I'm for Quick. It is very difficult to observe the fate of Pat and Co.
And the film without reference to the book is quite worthy. I guess. In the first 30 minutes.
She is not like anyone I know, because she does not wear the ever-smiling mask that others wear when they know they are being looked at.
This phrase from the book, Bradley Cooper quoted verbatim in the film, which I really liked. David Russell conveyed that effect of Pat’s unhealthy optimism throughout the film. Sometimes he breaks down, and you start to think that he already gives up, will turn back, but he starts all over again. He puts on this damn ridiculous garbage bag, rereads all the books from Nikki’s school curriculum, and over and over again tries to become what his ex-wife would like to see.
The whole book, an illusion. The illusion of love. It's not in the movie, and it probably got me hooked. The plot is not built entirely on the experiences and tribulations of Pat, they seem to go parallel to the whole film, which makes you watch them from afar.
This is one of the strangest and most unusual films I’ve seen. Originally, the main characters were going to be Vince Vaughn and Zoe Deschanel, as far as I can remember, and damn it, they would have played those roles just great. They seem to be written specifically for them. And the fact that the roles for which, it would seem, Cooper and Lawrence are not at all suitable, embodied so amazingly, suggests that this is a really great film with amazing actors.
The first time I saw the movie, I had one thought in my head: ': What the fuck am I watching?' She didn't leave me the whole movie until I saw Pat meet his ex-wife. This moment just put everything in its place. And from that very moment, I am a lover of stupid action films and comedies, decided to consider this one my favorite film.
It's made like a comedy. How damn funny, sad comedy that kind of shows the futility of your efforts. But it's a drama, probably the best I've seen.
How did Lawrence, who played a teenager in The Hunger Games 39, so beautifully and correctly embody the image of a woman whose whole life went awry? I still don't believe she succeeded. It was incredible and generally fucking cool. De Niro, who played similar roles before, nevertheless, fits well into such an atmosphere of easy traction and the reality of what is happening.
It must be mainstream. Love this movie, praise it, and everything. But I don’t care, because such a movie, I have never seen.
My boyfriend is crazy, it's a movie that can take you by surprise. For the unprepared, average viewer who expects to have a good time, relax and laugh after watching a comedy or empathize with the heroes of the melodrama, the content of this film may be a surprise.
I have to admit that I love the three actors who played the main roles in this film. Their presence in the film was the main reason for going to the movies.
At the beginning of the film, the mother takes the apparently unhealthy son from a psychiatric hospital, after which his new, old life begins in the parents' home. The viewer is gradually introduced to his family and friends, tell the background and immersed in the restless atmosphere of experiences and everyday life of the main character.
These events are shown in a kind of viscous, “suffocating” manner. Bradley Cooper is persuasive, we are watching a mentally ill person, according to a doctor suffering from split personality and mood swings. A panic attack from flashing memories of the recent betrayal of his wife or just a surge of negative emotions from a book read can happen at any time and you need to be prepared for this.
The hero’s mother and father live in a small house, many events and dialogues take place in his living room. Apparently, in order to better convey the atmosphere of the film, the director has the characters quite close to each other, uses close-ups. At the same time, the viewer seems to be in this room himself, personally present during the discussion.
And here's the protagonist Pat at home, his parents, elderly pensioners wanting to open their own restaurant, take care of him. After undergoing therapy and learning that you need to be positive and believe in the best, he is determined to return his old life, wife and work, no matter how impossible it may seem. The story, the emotional background, the images of the characters, all to some extent shown and all this, personally, I had only one desire to leave the cinema.
Apparently, at that moment I belonged to the average majority and was not at all ready to watch the anguish of a mentally ill person. Listening to banal and boring family conversations, constantly hearing about American football, a sport from which I am as far as playing the flute. For the thousandth time to learn about a positive attitude and kindness, literally in the next frame refuted by an attack of anger. Why would I do that, where is melodrama and comedy, in a black guy, in a ruined life or in a book that flew out of the window?
A ray of goodness or hope, or both, appears alongside Jen Lawrence. One of her appearance and presence in the frame, she seemed to illuminate the cinema and dispersed the depression and bewilderment that enveloped me. Of course, she is the decoration of this picture, her image becomes the embodiment of kindness, understanding, compassion, forgiveness. She is here the main psychotherapist and teacher, the guide of knowledge and simple truths. She reanimates, who seemed stillborn, her image animates the action, introduces intrigue, transforms the picture as a whole.
Unfortunately, even the beautiful play of Jen and the interesting image of her heroine Tiffany are not able to fully correct the ambiguous impression, both from the film as a whole and from the dialogue that it sounds. Apparently, due to the fact that now we have instead of one not healthy guy, two not quite balanced heroes, dialogue, not all, but only some of them resemble a porridge of words and emotions. Apparently, this is intended and it should be understood, but it is still quite difficult to perceive.
In general, the picture is not ordinary and in some ways original, in the end touching and optimistic. Still, for me personally, most of the aspects that make this film stand out are not entirely acceptable. Because of this, the overall impression of the picture was blurred. I would say that this is a strange and unambiguous movie with great actors.

To be honest, I don’t like romantic comedies. They almost always turn out to be a set of cliches, in which all the plot moves are predictable, the characters are uninteresting, and the jokes are flat. The exception to this unspoken rule was the Silver Linings Playbook.
And this movie stood out from the rest of the romantic comedies for very objective reasons. First, the plot is not just another love adventure, but a really interesting and very realistic story, in which there is a place for humor, surprises, and even some drama. Second, acting. Robert De Niro, Bradley Cooper, and (especially) Jennifer Lawrence are doing just fine. Only the ending is a little upsetting - I would like such an interesting plot not to end so standard.
Overall, the film turned out great. It can be recommended not only to lovers of romantic comedies, but also to everyone who likes a good movie.

Accidentally came across this film, never really respected the films with Bradley Cooper, but ' My boyfriend-crazy' opened it to me from a completely different unexpected side. The image ' handsome' from comedies is slowly collapsing, and his latest dramatic work in films reveals his creative and acting potential and it pleases me.
And of course, America’s favorite Jennifer Lawrence, who received an Oscar for this role, undoubtedly played matchlessly. Tiffany in her performance turned out very believable, sometimes sensual, funny and a little crazy with an admixture of aggression.
The main character Pat Soltano (Bradley Cooper) came out of a psychiatric hospital with the hope of improving his marriage and returning his ex-wife Nicky. He meets Tiffany Maxwell and her life is not so smooth. Unexpected death of husband, promiscuous sexual relations at work with further scandalous dismissal. And here the law of mathematics minus = plus works. How often we deceive ourselves and do not know what we aspire to and what we are looking for, and happiness, like a blue bird, does not have to go far behind it. So our protagonist Pat chases a silvery ray of hope, trying to find it in every situation and in every action, until he realizes that Tiffany is his ray of hope!
P.S. Be sure to read the book. It is no less interesting to read than to watch a movie.
"My boyfriend is a psycho" refers to a disappearing genre. It's a romantic, melodramatic comedy. Before such an easy movie about a guy with a girl was a lot. The times are wrong now. I’m glad someone is trying to do something like that. The screen is littered with American and Russian empty, vulgar comedies.
At the same time, “My boyfriend is crazy” is not at all old in the spirit of cinema. A drive movie. And the main driver is Bradley Cooper. An extremely charismatic actor who finally fell into skilled hands. In David O. Russell, Bradley is revealed in all its glory. Both here and in American Hustle (although I liked the last one less). Jennifer Lawrence is also a great player. No wonder she got an Oscar. For a long time, the American Film Academy did not award the main women's prize to such a young actress. A well-deserved award.
And he and she play non-standard characters, heroes with oddities. When you meet a guy and a girl like that, you know what the movie will lead to. The idea is not clever, but the execution is excellent.
In general, an easy story in a good sense according to the mental + mental system (M+J).

A very interesting slogan from the movie “My boyfriend is crazy”. In fact, it reflects the worn-out idea that husband and wife are one Satan. Only in this picture everything will be a little different. The husband will certainly not be alone, but the above thought will be about people who are not spouses. With this film, I began my acquaintance with actor Bradley Cooper and it slowly but surely continues. Gamma and scattering, the whole range of emotions can be seen from Bradley in the movie “My boyfriend is crazy.”
But at the beginning of the film you can’t say that Pat (Bradley Cooper) is a mentally ill and unstable person. Cooper’s hero returned from a medical institution with a completely adequate personality, even more than that. He runs in the morning, he does not get anyone, but life will certainly give you a good temptation. See how he reacts to this temptation. He doesn't give in to it, up to a point. Can this guy be considered crazy? This is the paradox of this picture.
By the way, the family of the main character causes a smile. One dad (Robert De Niro) is worth it. He's the one who's crazy. I'm kidding, but there's a bit of a joke in every joke. Of course, one should not expect a slow and academic narrative from this film. This picture is an example of expression and to some extent absurd, so it is attractive.
Sometimes there are people in our lives who don’t give us a pass. Whatever you do to them, they're like Velcro. But Velcros are different, too. There are such manipulators that I can not save. And Tiffany (Jennfer Lawrence) just turned out to be crazy for Pat, who just came out of the mental hospital. Pat can be understood. He wants to make peace with his wife, even an ex, and there's snow on Tiffany's head. He certainly doesn't know who she is to him yet, he doesn't even know. Like lightning, she burst into his life and went dancing until she fell.
Jennifer Lawrence is certainly good, no doubt. I’m not very close to her character, but the actress herself played great, I must admit. But Bradley!!! He's just amazing!!! It's like it's solar-powered, it gives out emotions and lines to the right and left. And his blue eyes can blow up more than one woman’s heart and there is something for that.
For such a rainbow of emotions, we love cinema, and we go to this art form in cinemas. A hectic picture, with great actors, but not a meaningless spectacle. You can take something for yourself, you can definitely. Of course, you should watch this movie, maybe more than once.

Just because you're crazy doesn't mean you're hopeless!
Now people very often at the word "abnormal" or "psych" immediately afraid and believe that it is incurable. In this film it is clearly shown that even the most normal psycho can change, love. And even if you meet the same abnormal nature, you can become timid.
Jennifer Lawrence - I consider this actress not only incredibly beautiful, but also talented. As you know, she won an Oscar for this film, and I think it’s a well-deserved award. She played very well, was able to convey all her emotions and make this film even more interesting.
Bradley Cooper – I never thought that such an actor could cope with such a strong role, but I was wrong. I liked the way he played. This actor made me think a lot. He played his role very realistically.
I thought this movie was a little long, it could have been made quicker and shorter. The beginning was too long, but only at the end I already liked the beginning and I began to understand the essence of this film. Well, the point is, of course, very deep. The truth makes you think.
I think this film will appeal to all crazy people and just ordinary people.

To understand insanity, you have to be crazy yourself.
Silver Linings Playbook - Race with Hope
Well, if translated freely, it would be translated as Mad Men or something. Because of this frivolous title, I didn’t go to the premiere in the theater or even look at the abstract. And I missed a lot.
Well, really, why not translate the title of the movie as "Bray of Hope"? Well, of course, who in our shocking century will watch a movie with such a romantically banal name! But the film is not about the guy-crazy, the film about the very ray of hope that warms in the heart of everyone, whether you are crazy or not, or think that crazy, or others think so. What the hell does it matter? This film is about the most coveted desire of an adult person - to start all over again, rewrite from scratch, find a new Love... and Faith and Hope and meet all three of them. Break up and find them again.
To the point:
Pat is a poor lad who once found his beloved wife naked in the bathtub with an old man - a history teacher or something - who pleasing her there to the sweet accompaniment of them and his wife of a wedding tune (pretty as life). It's beginning! Well, there's nothing like that in life. Of course, Pat did not like it and he oh... his (oops), no – inflicted heavy bodily (121 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, as in America, without a clue). Next...
The court was held over Pat (I still hear Vladimir Central). But not everything is so hard on our hero. Instead of Alcatraz, Pat is sent for 8 months (why not 9?) to a mental institution for incubation. Well, in the hope that the little one will think about his behavior and be reborn (where it is heard to beat the lover of his wife, and even a weak defenseless old man!). Pat comes out, but he thought in the mental hospital clearly not enough, because he can not forget his little wife and is extremely suffering and tormented, etc. in this spirit. The guy is mad for real, intoxicated with longing for the lost fairy tale of pure love, this bastard, the infection of the eternal, tearing heart to shreds, putting the innocence of souls into tears! And then he meets a girl who has lost her husband in the past and has been tortured by the same demon ever since. So there are two people who are lost in their feelings and in their lives who are trying to get everything back, not yet realizing that the only way to take everything from life is to let it go and start all over again, every day. I would gladly retold the film, but you can not tear the veil from the canvas of the master to time, and therefore only summarize and generalize.
Bradley Cooper played by 5 points. Such faces! There, life boils and whispers - in every gesture, word, movement and impulse. To me, his raw emotional manner of acting “lively” reminded me of the play of Christian Bale in the movie The Fighter. There is no reason these films have one father. Very similar in spirit. If you've watched Fighter, you've, in a sense, watched My boyfriend is crazy. Different stories, actors, but one spirit for two! The spirit of seeking the holy grail of all people is the bright hope for a better future.
Movie morals? I don't see much morality. A film about life as it is, with all of it ... and in life in general, in my opinion, there is no morality, there are only billions of eyes trying to look at the world the same way and losing themselves, because the world is different and the only madness is to exchange their eyes for others. The characters of the film have their eyes, and they are aimed at each other, there is love and hatred, and despair and fear and joy in them, and reflecting all these feelings, they look in themselves.
This is a film about family and family, about the relationship between father and son, about relationships in general, which, like a dance, is the unity of opposites and their struggle, the element of chaos, seized by two hearts seeking to curb it by understanding each other. Everything in this film speaks about the difficulties of relationships, the importance of understanding your neighbor. Father doesn't understand son (Pat), father's son, Tiffany's girlfriend doesn't understand Pat, Pat doesn't understand Tiffany. But only this elusive understanding finally reconciles them. If you still highlight the main idea in the film, it is simple:
“To understand everyone is to forgive everyone.” – French proverb
You're insane! After all, love is madness, better grief from the feelings of a living heart than from the insensibility of a dead mind.
So love it. Look at this. Love to see =)
Former school teacher Patrick Soltano (Bradley Cooper) was in a psychiatric hospital after he caught his wife Nikki with another and beat her lover half to death. For eight months, Patrick underwent all kinds of therapy until his mother decided to take him home, on bail, agreeing to this in court. The court has not only given Patrick treatment, but also many restrictions that prevent him from approaching Nikki. After leaving the asylum and returning to normal life, Patrick is obsessed with the idea of restoring his destroyed marriage - he in every possible way sets himself up in a positive way, wants to change, wants to prove to his ex-wife that everything is OK with him. The problem is that he ignores his prescribed medications, so the fits of rage do not go away. Everything goes to the fact that they want to shove Patrick back into the madhouse, because it is obvious to everyone around that the guy does not see the problems that he creates. Rescuing a hapless dinner at a friend's house where he meets Tiffany (Jennifer Lawrence), who suffers almost the same symptoms as him, in fact being the only person Patrick's behavior does not repel. Two singles met... more precisely, two sleepwalkers.
To say that I was biased towards the film initially is to say nothing. I don’t think I was more skeptical right before I watched. Fortunately, I was disappointed, which in this case has the most positive connotation.
"My Boyfriend is a Psycho" is a damn original work. This is not some banal, sugary melodrama, but a brutal and at the same time very cute movie about two eccentrics who save each other from the excessive normality of the surrounding world. The script is so good that it even covers many side moments that could easily be disdained by other paintings. Take Patrick’s relationship with his father, Pat Sr., played by Bob De Niro. The fact is that Patrick was not accidentally taken by his mother from the hospital, because his father was not told anything about it. And when he saw his son at home, his first actions were not joy, not the desire to hug, but the question “Is everything okay?” During the session, it turns out that Pat Sr. wants the offspring of good, but no longer knows how to help and sees a psychiatric hospital as the only way out. Given that Patrick's disease is essentially a monstrously bloated depression and his bouts usually end in tears, it's not easy to watch his father try to step over himself, recognizing therapy as acceptable. In addition, Pat the elder has enough of his brilliances - he is a pathological perfectionist, believes in signs to such an extent that he considers his son a happy talisman and begins to arrange a showdown even because the remotes from the TV someone removed from his favorite place. The work on creating the environment that surrounds Patrick Soltano, who has just returned to normal life, was done enormously. In it and the latest character found his own, necessary for the logic of what is happening.
And now for those who have played these characters. The main surprise is Bradley Cooper. After that movie, my opinion of him changed 180 degrees. I used to think of him as the next George Clooney (a handsome man with charisma and nothing else), but now I think I’ll give him a break, because here he doesn’t look like himself at all. No flattery, perfection, meaningless sex appeal. Who would have thought that there was something hidden in Cooper that could show such a great person close to the status of a madman. Completely different behavior, gait, gestures, facial expressions, speech suddenly became confused and a smile more like a child who crushes bugs in the yard. It’s a pleasure to watch him here, because he was given the role so easily, as if he had a dozen Patricks behind him. I will not be surprised that this role will be a turning point in his career (they will finally stop taking dumb seducers everywhere).
As for his girlfriend, played by Jennifer Lawrence, I was satisfied with her. Tiffany didn’t come out as interesting as Cooper’s character, but their relationship turned out to be alive, while still being wildly strange. Their dialogues, although they move in the direction of the sugar melodrama, but each such blunder is more than compensated by scenes during which Patrick accidentally reminds Tiffany that she is a whore whose husband died, and she begins to chastise him as some kind of baby. Simply put, their tandem perfectly succeeded in lawlessness, which turns the love of two outright madmen. We can’t help but mention those who were in the background.
The most prominent is the already mentioned Robert De Niro, who played almost his best role in the last 5-6 years. Despite the fact that age begins to make itself felt, De Niro’s grandfather is still able to show young people how to awaken empathy in the audience. Speaking of age, Chris Tucker is so old! Here he was taken to play the episodic role of Danny - a peaceful patient, a friend of Patrick, who is constantly taken back to the mental hospital, because his case of insanity is either recognized as unfounded, then new details emerge in it. I am glad that the 40-year-old comedian is still given a chance to prove himself. Finishing this review, I consider it my duty to admit that I did not expect that this movie will be as cool as it eventually came out.
“My boyfriend is crazy” is a wonderful example of the fact that any genre can be revived into something amazing and extremely entertaining. There would be a wish. I recommend it.
At first, the film may seem banal, but watching it again, you begin to think differently.
Most of all in the picture struck the acting! Bradley Cooper played a psycho and was nominated for an Oscar. Jennifer Lawrence never ceases to amaze. Her very emotional, strong and courageous game is fighting in the air. For this role, she deserved an Oscar.
David O. Russell, the director of the film, managed to accurately show the peculiar relationship between the characters. The viewer sees a very strong bond between his father, played beautifully by Robert De Niro, and his son. They both perfectly conveyed the similarity of characters, as they say 'apple from apple'.
The music for the tape was written by a beautiful composer, a four-time Oscar nominee - Danny Elfman.
The director did everything to surprise us. He worked every detail: actors, music, energetic dances, costumes.
The picture was not long, it looked in one breath.
“My Boyfriend is a Psycho” is a molasses-cutting movie. According to the director, mental illness is not a disease, but fun fun for middle-class Americans.
Poor people are treated behind bars with shock therapy, they are lobotomized and kept on heavy drugs. But not the inhabitants of the well-maintained cities of one-story America.
Surprisingly, the environment of the main character is very doubtful. His father is a gambling maniac, betting absolutely all the capital of the family on insane bets. Watching matches on TV is a special ritual for him. Before watching, he arranges the remotes from the TV in a special order, sits around him relatives who have, in his opinion, luck and looks for signs from above.
The main character's friend is a slow-acting psychopath. A successful realtor with a mask of visible family well-being, who beats the walls of the garage to the rumble of the audio system.
The hero’s brother is also an accomplished person. All the time, he taunts everyone about his new achievements, but in his eyes there is no hope to live even until the morning. In the frame always appears with weeping red eyes.
The mother of the family walks in a pale shadow. The face game of this unfortunate woman suggests that inside her all the supports have broken and she is not able to resist the quiet madness that is happening around. Honestly, I expected her to hang herself in the garage or in the nursery. Relatives will find her blue body with a sagging outward tongue and then the real hell and author’s movie will begin.
Who is crazy in this circus, you can guess all the way. Then the film will find a new depth suspense Alfred Hitchcock.
Cooper’s only worthy role, The Place Under the Pines, will serve as a reminder that the actor has potential. You can try to justify it (which you do not want) by the fact that the script left no manoeuvre for the development of the hero within the framework of the written, but Chris Tucker is present with a powerful counterweight. Although, over the years, his face has become 16:9, eyes are desperately sparkling with life, body language is full of eccentricities. This makes his appearances on the screen the most striking events of the film. Good or bad.
The film is about fighting your past, desire and hope for a bright future. Not only the main character, but also all the characters of the film. All of them are a little crazy, obsessed with their ideas, views.
Pat is the main character, who came out of a psychiatric hospital and insanely wants to restore his marriage, although according to a court decision he has no right to approach either his wife or his workplace. Of course, he still has a pronounced psychological abnormality, every mention of his past life, where his wife cheated on him, drives him mad. He's trying to get over it and of course he's obsessed with meeting his wife and explaining that he's changed.
Tiffany is the main character, a widow who lost her beloved husband to madness. Because of the bitter loss, temporarily set foot on the path of depravity and lust. She's trying to get back on track.
Because of the incorrect translation, I thought that the main characters would meet after the first meeting, if only for fun. But no, he is also obsessed with contacting his wife, she is also obsessed with her dead husband or her husband.
It's exciting, you sit there and you wonder what they're going to do next, what the characters are going to do. Their talkativeness, or rather, the fact that they practically do not know how to keep secrets, is surprising.
Selection of actors is good, the actors played their role well. The film is well made, good humor and music. In general, the film left good impressions (this is probably so noticeable from the review) and motivates you to fight for your future, not to dwell too much on the past.
I wish everyone a pleasant view.
I have long heard about this film from friends, heard their good reviews, but still did not reach hands. And then it was shown on TV.
I came across him late at night and my first impression was, "Why is Bradley Cooper in the trash bag?" That question tormented me until the middle of the film and perhaps spoiled my perception. But the film is interesting.
The review will only apply to the film, as I have not read the book.
The plot is interesting because it is quite close to people. And he pushed me away.
Robert De Niro was a superstitious fan. His attitude towards his son, as Bradley Cooper, seems strange to me and I understand why Pat had to be treated. And in general, I found the relationship in this family strange, although they and the neighbors are all friends, but they are all crazy. My life is not normal either, but we are not talking about me.
Jennifer Lawrence certainly deserves an Oscar. Maybe I prefer her because of her gender. As actors, I like both main characters. Bradley Cooper coped: he is good as a psychopath and as a psychopath seeking to improve. I won’t say I’m a fan of him, but movies with him are always nice to watch. I was humbled by his simplicity and a certain clumsiness. Here, I think he played a big boy, a boy in love. Jennifer is just a sweetie, her sweet imbalance, her behavior, her figure - everything was great. She seems to dramatize moments too often with pauses, it was, at times, funny.
I did not like the emphasis on the father’s argument, a stupid argument. Betting with a neighbor is, in my opinion, complete despair. I think that it is inappropriate for a person to spend his life without leaving home and interacting with the same people for several decades.
The music in the film made me happy. Short. I love White Stripes!
So the film is full of good acting, supported by good music, reinforced by a good plot and generally leaves a pleasant feeling.
I took this film for a long time, but then somehow forgot about it, but recently, quite unexpectedly, I had the opportunity to watch it, which I actually did.
The film is interesting for its extraordinary plot and unexpected turns, the lion’s share of the time you just sit and do not know what to expect next, because the main characters are unpredictable, each of them with their own oddities and very peculiar “cockroaches”.
Some moments are so crazy-strange that they cause laughter at the top of their voice, while others, on the contrary, are dramatic, make them empathize and sympathize.
As for acting, with every new movie I saw with Jennifer Lawrence, I fall more and more in love with her, and I believe that she got the Oscar for Best Actress. Bradley Cooper is also good, I have been following this actor for a long time, I like the way he plays and this film is no exception. You can’t even say anything about Mr. De Niro, everything is clear, a great actor, he just can’t play badly. And of course, you can not forget about Chris Tucker, although he was in the film and a little, but in those moments when he appeared, his face exploded in a smile.
In general, Lawrence and Cooper turned out to be a great duet, I can’t wait to see and evaluate another film with their participation: American Hustle.
In the end, I can say that the film is worth watching, simply because each of us is from a part of the same crazy, with its own quirks, oddities and troubles; just most, going out into society, put on a mask and adjust to existing norms of behavior, but Pat and Tiffany are not such people, they are the most real and natural, that is why others consider them abnormal.
I really liked the movie! But it looks like an ordinary melodrama with a very uncomplicated and, we can say, “drained” concept, except that the idea with psychopaths is very original. But when you watch it, this feeling immediately disappears, and there is a feeling of warmth in the soul, a feeling that you watched not just an ordinary melodrama, but a very original film. And this is what made me write a review to express all the feelings that this picture caused me.
This film has three very significant advantages - the elaboration of the script, its originality and the performance of actors, especially Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence. These advantages allow this film to become what it is, and they are also its main “highlight”.
In the script, though there is one giant cliché for the genre of melodrama, which manifests itself in the finale of this picture, but this cliché absolutely sinks in the sea of originality of ideas and incarnations of the script.
At the beginning of the film, we have a seemingly normal guy, Pat. But after a while we find out that he has mental problems, and serious. He wants his ex-wife back, whom he lost because of his illness, and is willing to do anything for it. And life brings him to an eccentric like himself, a special one named Tiffany. At first, he does not notice her, does not notice her importance to his life, which increases every day, but then he gets to know her better, understands her inner world so similar to his own, spends more time with her, and at one point this leads them both to... well, you probably guessed further... although maybe not.
From the point of view of the script, the film is perfect – everything is there. The main conflict of the protagonist, both external and internal, is shown clearly enough; the characters of all the characters are surprisingly accurately revealed, from the main character to the third-rate importance of friends in the dispute of his father; there is a development of characters from the beginning of the story to the end, there is also a clear set-up, main action, climax and denouement. And most importantly, the characters are sympathetic. Pat, even a psycho, evokes real emotions towards him - sympathy, respect, sympathy and many other feelings. Bradley Cooper managed to perfectly portray this hero on the screen, to show all his experiences, emotions, actions, as intended by the script. And I really believed him. Very good actor. So did Jennifer Lawrence, who won an Oscar for Best Actress for her work. Her heroine on the screen is hot-tempered, then defenseless, then cheerful, then detached ... Jennifer played very well in this picture, there is nothing to say. Also, the cast is complemented by Robert de Niro, who played the father of the main character well.
Overall, the film looks very nice. A few very emotional moments complement the overall smooth narrative. I want to talk about such a film with a soul, and this will be true, because it really clings to the soul and makes you just watch what happens next, although the plot is generally predictable, but still.
David O. Russell in this film, I believe, justified his concept of focusing not on action, but on the elaboration of characters and analysis of the relationships between these very characters. The film can be called realistic, lifelike. In all the time I watched, I never felt like it was all a production. Everything is as if in real life, as if it is happening right now, only on the screen.
And for this, as well as for the excellent performance of the actors and a good script, the melodrama “My boyfriend is crazy” can be confidently put.

What other director like David O. Russell, using all the same cliches, could better express that state of empathy and even matching himself to the hero. His second work, which I have seen, evokes this special feeling, as if you are trying with all your might to go through some kind of cordon from enemy territory, to get where you should be. We’ve seen it all, we know it all, in terms of the plot, the movie doesn’t show anything new. The truth lies in the details. Just like in the movie “The Fighter”, resistance is built against the main character. And if there was a family in the face of a brother and mother, then here all the problems lurk in the head of Pat, played by Bradley Cooper.
The action makes you think about how to look reality in the eye and see in it not what you were so afraid of before, but the opportunity to let life flow in the direction in which it should flow. Instead of clinging to the past, to empty fantasies about what is not, we can build happiness here and now. People who really appreciate it. And here all the time there is this possibility of choice, each time this is a crossroads, which is faced by Pat.
The idea of the film may fit the American Dream model, but you don’t have to be an American to dream of it. Even knowing or guessing in advance about what you will see on the screen, you involuntarily turn on the fan mode. Here, as in the "Fighter", sports are affected, but from the point of view of the inhabitants (not counting dances). Again, sport is not an end in itself. The hero’s father (Robert De Niro) looks for some signs, trusts superstitions, tries to see the connection between playing baseball and the behavior of his son, who is for him an “amulet” that helps his favorite team to win. And everyone gets into this game. You begin to feel excitement, immersion in this boiling abyss, which overwhelms the desire to win (especially over yourself).
And do not forget about the main character performed by Jennifer Lawrence, whose oddities and breezes are not enough that adorn the film, but also gave her an Oscar for Best Actress. The American film Academy deservedly appreciated the embodiment of the character Tiffany on the screen. She is similar to Clementine in The Eternal Sunshine of the Pure Mind and April in Definitely Maybe (2008), both of whom are attractive for their unshowable sincerity and originality. And this applies to the truth in detail, which was said above.

I want to start with the fact that my review does not pretend to be objective. But this does not mean that you need to see the subjectivity of my opinion in everything.
I watched the movie recently. You could even say it was an accident. What did I know about it before I watched it? I knew that Jennifer Lawrence had won the Oscar for Best Actress, knew that David O. Russell was the director and writer, and that Bradley Cooper was there too. That sounds good, doesn’t it?
The plot is not genius at all. I'd say guessing and being transparent. But the story itself is presented filigree. The film is very versatile. You can watch not only the love relationships of the characters, but also for family troubles, for the psychological problems of some characters. David O. Russell was able to give the viewer the right to choose what to watch and in what genre to perceive this film. Not every director can do that.
Actors, of course, well done! Bradley Cooper played a great role. In recent films, he stopped playing such “beauties” who sparkle with their smile and that’s all. I can say with confidence that he put his soul into his hero! Bravo Jennifer Lawrence! A lot of people were surprised by her Oscars and I didn’t. Many Russian viewers did not like her performance. I think I understand why.
In my opinion, the problem with many films, like this one, is dubbing. I decided to review it again, but in the original. I actually practice that a lot. If I liked the movie in translation, I will watch it in the original. I know good English. And here's Wow! You just listen to these Pat and Tiffany tantrums! And the famous Philadelphia accent performed by Robert De Niro? Can dubbing convey that? Isn't that a great acting game? To prove this, look at the average scores of the film on "Kinopoisk" and "IMDb", as well as their number.
I liked the movie! I enjoyed watching it twice. If you speak English, I advise you to look in the original. For those who are going to watch in dubbing, do not judge strictly!
My subjective
'My boyfriend is crazy' it was another movie I didn't watch in the theater when it came out. The reason for this was the title that the film received in the Russian box office. Agree, it is difficult to take seriously the film with the same title, Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper on the poster. The attitude of Russian distributors to the viewer as a stupid cattle who physically can not want to go to the film, the title of which does not directly indicate the concept and plot of the film, has already been said countingly, so I will not focus on this.
I missed a really interesting movie. The film revolves around Bradley Cooper's character, Pat. He was just released from the clinic for people with mental disorders, he has a court order banning contact with his wife, which caused a nervous breakdown. Pat returns to his parents' house with a bunch of dots and bzies. He does not control his emotions, and constant nervous breakdowns become a headache not only for Pat’s parents, but also for all neighbors. The main character finds help not at the receptions of the attending doctor, but in the company of the same crazy Tiffany.
Despite the fact that the center of the film is a love story, there is much more hidden inside the picture than it may seem at first glance. Crazy people in the film - people whom others, relatives and friends consider emotionally inferior are the most honest, the most normal among the normal.
The complex relationship in the family of the main character with all the skill was conveyed by the actors. It is especially nice to see Robert Deniro in a normal role, after a series of passing films - the actor did not lose a drop of his talent. The actors in the lead roles immaculately embodied the images of unstable sociopaths. It’s a pity that Jennifer Lawrence is wasting her talent on the Hunger Games, but the mass audience votes in the ruble, so you can’t get away from it.
Overall, it was a wonderful movie. I’m sure some of the viewers who chose to watch the film by title ended up in a much more complex and profound film than they expected.
Those who read the work, probably disappointed in the first minutes of the film, but in the hope of something close to the novel, still watched this film. Among them is me.
The writer shamelessly disfigured the formation of Pat. He rewrote the character, behavior and thoughts of the hero, thanks to which not everyone felt what it was like to be out of himself. What about the role the writer has in store for Tiffany? The role of an eccentric person who only knows how to interfere with conversations during runs? Alas, I saw her in the book as a very vulnerable lady who was just afraid to trust anyone. And only at the end of the book did I know the reason for her behavior and could feel compassion for her.
What happened to the role of Cliff? Why was this character just thrown out? The therapist became Pat's friend and we see that throughout the book. And Nikki? Why are there only three words in a two-hour movie?
I am very sorry that the film came out insanely primitive, cheap and stamped.
This is not a film adaptation, but a desecration, because

Bradley Cooper, Jennifer Lawrence, positive reviews and numerous Oscar nominations determined my decision to see this film.
The plot is not banal and at the same time simple, a little predictable, but this makes it even more cute and attractive. The weird guy Pat got out of the asylum and he thinks he's gonna get his ex right now. And his girlfriend thinks she's married, even though her husband is dead. They help each other in their pursuits.
Bradley Cooper - The main character of the picture is Pat. In my opinion, this is one of the most touching movie heroes. He is simple, honest and naive as a child. Very sensitive and charismatic. I've been loving Cooper so much lately, and I'll say he's doing really well in serious roles. Look at his look, I can't tell if it's psychotic or naive. But the guy with the weirdness of it is what you need.
Jennifer Lawrence is the girlfriend of the main character named Tiffany. Jeniffer is incredibly good in this role. She's weird, she slept with all her colleagues, but she's honest. They look so good on camera. She's just the diamond of this movie.
Comedy? I don't think so. It's just a very good movie, although it certainly had some very funny moments. With elements of melodrama. With elements of a little tragedy. With elements of depth.
I don’t really like watching movies in the original voiceover (I spend all the time reading subtitles, not having time to enjoy the picture), but this film is worth it. It doesn’t seem to have a fully licensed dubbing (I didn’t find it), so don’t be lazy and look in the original, it’s worth it. Bradley and Jeniffer, it turns out, have such chic voices, and emotions are inexpressible.
There are simply chic moments in the film: Pat’s reasoning, the scene in the cafe and Tiffany’s laugh, their dance and many more. This is a very sweet, honest, touching and, really, kind film. Don’t expect anything super-duper, just enjoy it.
In our society, we can distinguish such categories of people as practical minds and dreamers. And they are quite opposite to each other. So, this film will find a truly lively response in the hearts of the second.
This is the story of people who do not rely in their thoughts and actions on the opinion of other people who live as the main character, and strive to live as the main character, according to the law of the heart. Society dictates the rules, following which, you will not stand out from the crowd, at least bad manners, failures at work or anything like that. Obeying the rules will keep you safe. But heroes do not need security, they need happiness and sincerity towards others and themselves.
The picture has a synopsis, so it makes no sense to retell the plot. He doesn’t say anything to people who feel, the film needs to be seen. The actors did not remember for a moment that this was their game. And most likely because it was not just a game, but an experience. I think Bradley and Jennifer, and with them the director David O. Russell (without him, without his vision of the picture, as we saw it, nothing would have happened), and all the actors and directors who make you forget that you watch a movie are those who have a passion for life in their hearts, those who are endowed with the gift of empathy and empathy for others. When you watch such actors live the moment in the frame, tears appear in your eyes.
Dancing in the film is certainly a highlight and something around which this extraordinary story is set. The incredibly moving performance at the end serves, in my opinion, as a metaphor for the main message of the director.
The result is the most enjoyable 120 minutes of your life... again, rather if you’re in the second category.
Signs are everywhere. The main thing is to be able to see them.
Prejudicial attitude to American comedies and dislike of stupid titles, which for some reason are given in the Russian box office, always make me avoid watching them. The same would have happened with the film “My boyfriend is crazy”, if not for the fact of nomination for 8 Oscars and not the victory of Jennifer Lawrence in the nomination “best female role”.
The first and most important thing to note is a chic cast and excellent directorial work. The performance of Cooper, Lawrence and De Niro singled out this film from hundreds of similar ones and helped close our eyes to the confusion of some scenes. The banal story about the meeting of two eccentrics with a bunch of their own problems turned into a touching life story, and even the predictable happy end could not spoil the impression.
Special attention deserves a light and pleasant soundtrack, consisting of old and favorite songs like “Goodnight Moon” and perfectly complements what is happening on the screen.
Original title "Silver Linings Playbook" - "A collection of rays of hope" suits this life-affirming film much more, because it really inspires hope for the future and causes a desire to enjoy every moment of your own life.
