Neue Deutsche Kunst (New German Art) or Adult Tale. I went to this film spontaneously, learning from my friend about the festival of such an independent film and listening to his impressions of the films he watched, as well as from the screening (except for me, there were two other people in the hall). I decided to go and watch the upcoming show for interest. I didn’t know what movie I was going to, what the plot was, who shot it, I didn’t even know the name, my friend said, ‘Oh, something about the blonde and the robbers.’ There was a man in the room besides us, maybe ten. Half of them later escaped by the middle of the film. What is this movie about?
“Blonde and Robbers” is a modern interpretation of folklore, fairy tales, where good inevitably defeats evil. The royal family decided to marry their son. The son, by the way, is a high-aged child, playing with toys, dirty, unkempt, having absolutely no manners and also very disgusting. No matter who he was, he was all unhappy. The prince's greedy chewing mouth finally exclaims, "I want a blonde!" "Blond, blond!" Blonde! The blonde is soon found, charming and sweet Emily, whose mother decides to impersonate a prince to improve her financial situation. But Emily already has a lover and how it is to be a lover is blinded and thrown into the forest, where he only cries out to his beloved and beats his forehead against trees. Emily is put in a high tower, but she runs away with the maid. First getting into a brothel, where the inhabitants and inhabitants of the brothel penetrate to its history and in the end they decide to take revenge on the rich by robbing them. Subsequently, their revenge actions direct the vector towards sexual violence against men.
The film is replete with natural scenes of sadism, demonstration of the genitals and other things. At first I wanted to get out of the room, but I got involved. I didn't regret running away. For despite all its naturalistic and somewhat unpleasant scenes, the film came out quite interesting and funny. All the jokes, I can’t remember. The humor is specific, but I like it. Separately, I want to talk about the soundtrack of the film. If you watch this movie at home, you need a good sound system to convey all the nuances of sound. Special thanks to the cinema for their sound system. In the film there is a kind of feedback, when on the verge of hearing comes the escort of an orchestra of upset banjos or any other sounds, it is difficult to convey in words. But that sounds great. In general, the music in the film is interesting, representing a kind of country, it brings to the film a certain note of a western or something.
The film can be called a slap in the face to public taste, as a vivid protest against the worn themes and techniques in cinema, against saturation with special effects, against stagnation in world cinema. You have to get into this movie without paying attention to some nasty scenes, well, if you don’t have it all in your moral system, then fine. The film can be called a satire through a historical prism, which shows the Middle Ages with unkempt rich people, the clergy mired in sins and vices, all this is projected on the modern world, which unfortunately has not got rid of all its vices, where there are still people doing everything from sokha, without manners, what material and social position they would not occupy. And the clergy violating both the laws of God and the laws of Man, leading a way of life far from corresponding to the lifestyle of a spiritual person in ostentatious luxury. I am not going to point to specific people. In general, I was happy with the film, but there are nasty scenes there, I will not describe them. I laughed and had a good time. The guy sitting in front of me was laughing like crazy. This film is not just to watch, but also to think. And everyone will draw their own conclusions from it if he does not look superficially and turn his nose “Phee, some pornography!”. This film is such an island, among all the gloss of consumer films with special effects and huge box office, an island with its own laws and its own life. I liked this movie. I was pleased.
