Earthly life, having passed to half I found myself in a gloomy forest ...
It was these lines of Dante that surfaced in my memory while watching Treason.
The film primarily attracts the reflection of real, everyday life. Getting into that gloomy forest, life seems to have stopped. You live in another world and you think, you think. You're somewhere far away. As the main character Natasha (Maria Mironova) says, correcting her daughter that we first think why we live, and then die, perhaps not understanding (literally I do not remember, but the main meaning).
Reflecting on the above, I understand that the film hooked primarily with the plot. Good script. The topic is thought out, it is not difficult to tell, the dialogues are real, without unnecessary abstruse phrases.
In second place is, of course, the cast. The amazing play of Maria Mironova - without tear, emotional, weighed - it feels like a real person, from life, as if your neighbor on the court. Andrey Merzlikin and Marat Basharov found the depth of their hero. But I would like to note that the film appeals more to the female half. Thoughts, movements, phrases - more worked out with the heroines of the film, even the second plan. Due to this, the male half becomes not so bright. It goes without saying, as the writer (Irina Kmit) and the director (Anna Legchilova) are women. I also want to cancel that the director Anna Legchilova in the past received an acting education, and the main goal in her work, I saw, the staging of acting.
I didn’t have enough art scenes for a positive assessment. And in picturesque terms, and in terms of bringing the emotions of the viewer to the highest point, so that everything inside is compressed. This is the average TV series, which is a lot on our screen. But with a subject that gives rise to thought.
