The authors of the Czech film turn to the most terrible example of eugenics, the pseudo-scientific theory of the possibility of improving the human race with the help of selection, which was considered the biological basis of National Socialism, but was until the end of the Second World War recognized and popular is far from popular only in Nazi Germany. The cold persuasiveness of numbers and graphics, the indisputability of which turned out to be so, is easy to believe, the main monster of this fictional horror film. It is difficult to imagine a better reminder how dangerous any blind faith is, even if it is a belief in science. close
