Forbidden Love This story has already been filmed countless times, giving it a variety of interpretations, and this time it also turned out to be a completely unique work! Garden gnomes, red and blue, living on the neighboring lawns of the owners with all known surnames, feud with each other in every possible way. From lawnmower races to robberies on foreign territory, a real war has unfolded here, and the key motive through all this confrontation is, of course, forbidden love.
The son of the head of the blue dwarves named Gnomeo falls in love with Juliet - the daughter of his most sworn enemy - the leader of the Reds. Young gnomes meet without even knowing that they belong to one of the warring factions, and openly demonstrate the illusion of any military conflict with respect to each particular person. However, we will not be burdened with a deep and philosophical analysis of this problem, thank God, by putting forward the necessary ideas and prerequisites for all those who are interested in it.
The viewer is immersed in a beautiful and romantic love story, but the cartoon is primarily a comedy. And, perhaps, this is his main plus. From the snotty and sad girl story, the authors of the cartoon managed to make a cool action comedy, with an abundance of action and spectacular scenes, humorous and simply funny. Everything here is positive and beautiful, everything is exactly as it should be in a good movie and in a good cartoon. A bunch of secondary characters in the spirit of the Frog, Deer and Flamingo successfully dilute the main handful of the main characters with their hilarious antics, and the main characters play out an exciting and interesting story.
The cartoon for the whole family turned out to be excellent, combining at once many bright features, whether it is an impressive battle with a monster lawnmower or romantic evenings of Gnomeo and Juliet. There are also a couple of very successful movie quotes, referring, for example, to “American Beauty” and “Braveheart”. So adults during viewing, too, will not have to be bored, even if they are not quite able to turn on the viewing of the cartoon of their “inner child”.
Finally, this story ended right. Perhaps, for the first time, among the film adaptations, we will be shown a decent and stunning finale, on the theme of which it is extremely interesting to watch the scene of the dialogue between the garden dwarf and the monument to William Shakespeare. A successfully revised plot will play with new colors, plenty of fun episodes, touches the music of Elton John and simply must remain a pleasant trail in the soul for recommending such a cartoon to all friends and acquaintances. Beauty, humor, positivity and really the most correct interpretation of this story!
