A dynamic sitcom with a harsh satire on 60s America. Something must be wrong in a country where people risk their lives to get money. The pursuit of heroes in life serves as an allusion to the life of the average American. And they are in trouble because of their own greed, being unable to share the unexpected wealth. The central plot of the picture remains relevant today. Money, more than anything else, determines the lives of those without it. The system works in such a way that the main occupation of a person is the extraction of money. Everything else will inevitably be secondary. But the opportunity to succeed in this case is illusory.
The director admitted that he wanted to make the funniest comedy in the world. The funniest thing didn't work out. But the film still looks easy these days, despite the obviously old and long gone world on the screen and despite the old cinematic techniques.
