A very good film by Peter Weir, Dead Poets Society, 1989, that kept falling out of my spotlight. Many, if not all, have seen this movie, so I will not dwell on the content. I want to say that films on the themes of personality formation are absolutely timeless, the action takes place in the late 50s, the film was shot in the late 80s, and now it looks like an absolutely relevant movie, despite the realities of that time, because the relationship of children with parents is often problematic, parents often try to impose a certain line of behavior and even life on children, to realize through them what they did not manage themselves, teachers extremely rarely try to instill in children the ability to think independently and nonconformism. I loved the choice of artists and, of course, first and foremost Robin Williams, who I have always liked, it’s a great role for him. The young guys didn't give up either. I really liked the movie.
