A film on an important topic is an interest in the success of works against the background of general sloppiness. The experiment with a brigade contract bears fruit, but part of the salary the foreman has to spend on bribing drivers and stealing building materials from neighboring brigades, so as not to sit idle.
The same applies to the construction of unauthorized bridges to simplify logistics and other “little things” that do not lend themselves to a clumsy management system.
There is also a love line with the brother of the main character, but it turned out to be rather indistinct.
In general, realism in this film was overdone - some of the characters' replicas are difficult to disassemble, and the nuances of many events either remain behind the scenes or simply elude the viewer. The general outline is clear, but it is told rather lazily.
It's quite a passing movie, but it has a couple of interesting details. Basically, they are associated with the attitude to what is happening to an outsider – the brother of the foreman.
It could have been very interesting, but it was pretty gray.
