Very beautiful, but as with indie comic book movies (Raviina’s Cat is an example), the plot falls apart.
Visually and in the details of the plot is full of cool finds, and just beautiful, and funny (Senor watch, the story of an inflatable duckling) and touching the heart (because the image of Birdboy) and frightening (demons in the lighthouse, drug addiction in the form of a spider), and completely frostbitten (Dinky’s father in a mouse costume, her brother-neveodma animal), and the meaning behind this seems to be lacking. Or it's so well hidden it's hard to dig up.
Stories about the señor of the clock, the mother of Zacharias, a duckling, seem just false novels that are unnecessary for the rest of the storyline. And they would look great as independent short films, but a full-length film, which consists of such novels, is perceived, as they say, less than the sum of its parts.
But despite this, the pleasure of viewing is received and even considerable, the images are strong, the scope for interpretation is huge, and in general - beautiful.
