Once I really liked Guillaume Canet’s film “Little Secrets”, so I was waiting for the continuation even with interest, but “Little Secrets of a Big Company”, as the Russian box office called this film, slightly disappointed me. Yes, the same company of good friends performed by good actors, a few grown up over the years, however, over the years, not only they have changed a little, but also their relationship, all the same beautiful landscapes of the sea coast of France. They kind of decided to repeat the situation of the first film - to gather in the same place in the same company (although Dujardin's hero Ludo no longer exists, he appears only for a moment in the memories of the main character) in the beautiful house of Max Kantar, but having fallen into his house without an invitation, they eventually realize that something is wrong there. Then there is a series of events related to attempts to overcome the situation, in the end it is already approaching tragedy. And so, as it seemed to me, with the number of tragic situations, the author slightly overdid, however, in the end everything ends more or less well, friends still helped Max overcome his crisis, and at the same time solved some of their difficult problems. It's a comedy after all. What bothered me a little is that English-language songs were chosen as the soundtrack of the French film, the reason for this choice is understandable, but nevertheless, it is puzzling.
