For those of you who haven’t encountered Michelle Gondry, the director of The Solutions Book, see two of his things that, despite the financial failure of one of them, are iconic. This "Eternal Sunshine of the Pure Mind" (2004), for this film, Gondry and Charlie Kaufman received an Oscar for best original screenplay, and many nominations for Saturn, Bafta, Cesar, etc. and another film, gorgeous in the visualization of "Foam of Days" (2013) with Audrey Totu, but before this film I recommend reading Boris Vian's book "Foam of Days" (translated only by Lungin) and understanding what this director is full of.I appreciate Gondry. His video clips, which he shot from Bunk, Bunk, Brothers, short films, for example, "Radoxy's" (Radoxym, "Radox, Radiohead, short films, "Radoxy's"). What hooked me in the tragicomedy "Book of Solutions", is that creative throwing, dissatisfaction, a kind of crisis is shown multifaceted, from different sides of the Rubik cube. The film is very metaphorical, it is dedicated to Aunt Gondry – Suzette and therefore for those, eight years that he did not shoot the full meter, there is something to think about and push those film fans who appreciate French cinema. The film is not heavy, even airy somewhere, in the manner there are scenes where there is a roll call with Fellini, and I think there is a great contribution here of the main actor Pierre Nine, he has such a cute face of the child always, and he reflected the whole script pin - the idea of Gondry. For those who love movies of the 60s, there is a foundation for this. 8/ 10. I recommend Kata Melnikova and the Samoilov family. You will definitely appreciate the unusualness, satire and irony of the director.
