After decades, the film “Precious find” can be safely attributed to the classics of low-budget fiction. Most likely, the director Philip Mora (also starred in this film in the role of the usurer Kosnikov) did not look so far, but his not standard view of filmmaking he immortalized his picture. What is so interesting about such unpretentious fantastic works? In my opinion, this is the author’s approach and acting. Both are excellent in this film. Rutger Hauer, Bryon James (multiple-played duo) place reference points for playing younger actors Joan Chen and Harold Pruitt. However, the game and the incomparable Hauer and the episode of the farewell of Sam (B. James) with Ben (G. Pruitt) near the shelter are very touching and in their own dramatic. In addition, excellent work of costume designers and makeup artists. Wonderful scenery adjusted for the budget of the film, and of course various pleasant episodes with the stunning game of the raider "Suki-Yaki" and the usurer Kosnikov. Important and mystical is the fact that half of the cast of the leading actors of the film left (at different ages) this sad and joyless world: Hauer, James and Pruitt.
