A Thor Heyerdahl movie is needed. Kon-Tiki is not bad, but unfortunately not too good. It is clear that making a film about swimming on a raft is very difficult. Too simple plot turns out: sailed, sailed, sailed. Therefore, the creators tried their best to add drama. It shows and spoils the movie. They showed how difficult it was for Heyerdahl to find funds for the expedition. Perhaps something was invented, but the presentation itself is justified. It showed why the expedition was important for anthropology. But raft drama is a bit boring. The bet was made on unexpected events and a picture that can be understood. But it didn't make a better movie. To sum up, the film is not disappointing, something allows you to learn, but not impressive.
