Morpheus isn't the same anymore. As a field commander of Zion’s rebels, he was much more effective in fighting for the future of humanity. In the cold world of the Colony, everything is not glued to him.
The survivors in his bunker frankly eat, they have livestock, hydroponics and receive double rations, but constantly complain about poor living conditions. The executive branch puts on his wishes with the device and administers justice as they please.
Everyone is afraid of a cold because there is no cure. The question is, what’s so bad about going into quarantine and going to work? Unfortunately, the world of the Colony is very poorly illuminated, we only know that it is snowing and very cold. It is so cold that our heroes go on forays just like the residents of St. Petersburg in minus 20, and even then - the faces are not covered and scarves are weakened, or, apparently, there are minus 30 baked.
Faced with a problem, they do not try to explain it in any way, but simply think that people are so wild with hunger, that’s all.
In general, it seems that everyone in the film believes that what is happening is not about them, but someone else. The dead are not particularly mourned, and the collapse of the colonies is taken for granted. After all, you can always collect the manats and go to the oasis, which is found in half a minute with the help of a satellite, but only when they receive a transmission. After all, to see a huge pink spot on the map, no one on duty could not.
It would be a good movie if the world was better. And so – continuous questions, the experiences of the main characters on the spot or, conversely, excessive pofigism.
