Three female idols appear on a television show to investigate an exorcism. An exorcist with psychic powers named Unsui claims that the show’s subjects, the Kaneda family, are cursed by a demon that’s too powerful for him to banish on his own, so he calls in a fellow exorcist to help. Soon, a reckless ghost hunter enters the fray as the three idols witness a series of terrifying events.

The plot of the film “Real horror stories” was invented by several screenwriters, including: Norio Tsuruta himself, Chiharu Yamagami, Rima Kitaki. The creators aspired (and they managed this wonderfully) to embody on the screen all the fearsome, intriguing and dramatic techniques of interaction with the viewer: a gloomy atmosphere, a night panorama like a dead city, sharp appearances of ghosts (often in the form of long-haired girls), a constant feeling of inevitability of tragedy - and all this with the direct participation of ordinary actors experiencing all the emotions that the viewer on the opposite side of the screen.
5 individual horror stories
The story is divided into 5 separate “real” horror stories, which are Japanese “urban legends”. The first of them, “Red Claws” (characters: Ishida Akiyoshi, Sasaki Kirara, Suzuki Masai) tells about a turn on the highway, where you should not turn, and if it happens, you should not tell anyone.
The second, "The Cursed Chamber" (characters: Sano Airi, Sudo Megumi, Oyamada Fumio, Utsumi Re), tells the story of a terrifying hospital ward in which any patient dies, but at the same time looks at the ceiling for a long time.
The third – “The Woman at the Right Shoulder” (characters: Sawada Toshiya, Ito Mami, Yamada Kent, Watanabe Miyuki) – is a story about a girl who did not want to part with a guy and because of this pursued him as a dark half of her.
The fourth, The Last Midnight Train, tells the story of a guy who was late for the last night train, but found that he never left; getting on the carriage, the hero realizes that no other passenger is here, but it is too late.
The fifth, “One Summer” (characters: Shimazu Satomi, Shimazu Kota, Tadokoro Saki, Eshimura Yuji, Shimazu Mariko), tells the story of a girl who saw a ghost, the mortality of a person and the immortality of true love.
