A new level of disgust. The first part of this film is watched for various reasons: love of thrash, simple curiosity, the desire to personally get acquainted with a film that most people disgust.
I watched the first “Human centipede” without much enthusiasm, but the second film seems both more logical and more crazy: a farce is being created in an abandoned warehouse, but it is run by a person who is not mentally healthy and, most importantly, does not understand medicine. Accordingly, the idea comes to the fore, and the viewer safely forgets about the medical aspects, and because the fact that in the first part caused bewilderment (the doctor cannot not understand that nothing will come out of his “animal”), here causes understanding. I am not talking about sympathy with the main character - it will be fine.
There were a few things that looked like over-the-top (assuming that the Centipede itself isn’t too much): having a baby in a car, everything that happens in and around Martin’s family. And, unlike the obsessive surgeon, the hero of the second part is easier to believe, he is more interesting, brighter and has his own story. Oh, that awkward moment when you're going to see something else with Lawrence Harvey and you find he's only done one movie.
In addition, the idea of the film in the film falls in the “Human centipede” to the place, black and white film creates an atmosphere, and a small amount of dialogue does not allow you to distract from the screen.
In the first part I lacked graphics, in this, perhaps, enough. Here you need to make a reservation that most of the slashers I watch the food, and some of the horrors perceived as a cross between comedy and eroticism, where the author does everything to the viewer appreciate the merits of knife wounds and the brightness of blood flowing to the floor. Accordingly, I can calmly watch everything that happens in the “Multipede”, but to discourage others from watching.
