Sharon Lee was born in 1952 in Baltimore, Maryland. In 1970, she graduated from high school and for several years pretended to be a shy student at the evening department of the University of Baltimore County in Maryland, and in the light of day ruled the world, sitting in the chair of a secretary. The pinnacle of her career was the position of assistant administrator dean of the faculty of social professions at the school of vocational training at the University of Maryland.
1978. Lee found her job too simple and smooth, left a quiet backwater and opened a bookstore, withdrawing money from her retirement account.
When Book Castle went bankrupt, Lee changed many jobs, from the strange to the very strange, including the delivery of tractor trailers. Selling cider at the Sunday Farmers Market in Baltimore was fun, too. I even had to work as an advertising copywriter, sometimes full-time, sometimes independently.
In 1980, Lee and her partner Steve Miller merged their destinies, libraries, music archives and cats. In 1988, Sharon, Steve, cats, selected books, most of the records, and two computers moved to Maine, where they remain today. Rumors of their divorce and the death of Steve are exaggerated.
