Francesca is from the Italian town of Trento. As a result, she decided to enroll in an art history course at the University of Rome.
A successful start in cinema was held at home, where Francesca starred in the films “Bancomat” and “Briganti” in the period from 1989 to 1990. In 1990, the young actress made her international debut in film.
