Since 1995, his cooperation with the publishing house "Readers Digest" began. After Andrei Dobrunov wrote a series of fairy tales with his own illustrations, he was invited to work in the field of animated cinema. In 1996-1997, he worked as a production designer at the Classic Studio, then as a production designer at the F.A.F. Studio. Since 1999, Andrey Dobrunov has been the general director of the Sun House studio. According to his idea and under his artistic leadership, the animated film Prince Vladimir was released.
