While serving in the army, Baque sang in the choir, with which he later sang Fausta. After returning home, Gregory signed a contract with the Karim Salah Theatre Company. And so began his career. The handsome Frenchman began to play in the theater, starring in television series and short films. Later, Gregory tried himself on one of the castings in musicals. So, in the late nineties, Gerard Presgurvik invited him to play Benvolio, Romeo's cousin, in the famous musical Romeo and Juliet, which premiered in Paris in 2001.
