Goya

Goya is the main film award of Spain, awarded since 1987 by the Spanish Academy of Arts and Cinematography. The award ceremony is held annually in late January - early February. The award is named after the Spanish painter Francisco Goya (1746-1828). The record holder of the award is the film “The Sea Inside”, which received 14 awards out of 15 possible in 2005. Currently, the award is awarded in 28 nominations.
