The International Film Festival in San Sebastian is an annual international film festival, held since September 21, 1953 in San Sebastian, Spain.
Unofficially, it is considered the fourth most important film festival in Europe after Cannes, Berlin and Venice and the most prestigious in the Spanish-speaking world. The main award of the festival is the “Golden sink”. "Silver sink" is awarded to the best performers of male and female roles, as well as the best directors. Every year at the festival, an honorary award is presented - "Donostia" for contribution to cinema.
