Josh (Zach Weintraub) is a young American who has traveled to Buenos Aires to find subjects for a documentary series he has been commissioned to produce. While there, he seems also to be hoping to use the time to regroup—although regroup from what is unclear. The change of venue is not without its own set of problems, however. Josh finds it difficult to get his footing in Buenos Aires. Subjects aren’t coming easy, and he is having trouble connecting socially. He spends long stretches of time isolated in his rented room, struggling to move forward with his work and make social in-roads. Enter Anna (Sophia Takal), a young woman renting a room with an adjoining wall to Josh. After discovering each other through this shared wall, a friendship quickly blossoms which may lead to something more. What remains uncertain is if Anna’s presence will help pull Josh out of his doldrums. close

Ariel and Franco, live their present moments together, cocooned in their inner sanctum, refuting any possibility of an 'outside'. This 'outside' does not disturb, does not destroy the couple's warmth and tenderness, but it is just.. there. And this 'outside' suggests, ever so precariously, the couple's barely perceptible boundaries. close

The short drama Buena Fe - the film Christina Aurora Kotz Cornejo (3 Américas, Hermanas), tells the story of a married couple who found themselves on the verge of breaking up after the death of their only son. Their family life collapses like a house of cards, and nothing can stop this process, but for a spouse who plans to start a religious activity, a divorce from his wife is unacceptable for a number of reasons.
In an attempt to save their marriage, Carlos and Romina embark on a joint trip, believing that it will help them bond again, but instead realize that they have become completely strangers. Will they be able to find a way out of this situation? Or is this family already doomed? close

The film tells two stories apparently very distant are slowly approaching each other. On the one hand is Babarimisa, a young man from Benin who suffers from a relentless disease for which seems to have no remedy. Desperate to save his mother, Morenike, a Yoruba priestess goes to invoke the power of the Orishas gods. Meanwhile in Argentina, Shantas is a young offender living in a marginal area tainted by the practices of Umbanda, a cult derived from African religions. None of us can even imagine the surprises that come in the destination. close

A fugitive, a fetishist and a detective walk through a mansion built in the 19th century on the banks of the River Plate. Within its walls, there are more
A fugitive, a fetishist and a detective walk through a mansion built in the 19th century on the banks of the River Plate. Within its walls, there are resonances, portraits of illustrious or unknown people, books, souvenirs, furniture from different periods and styles. At the heart of this secret order is a woman who has been portrayed throughout her life by painters of the Belle Epoque, by neoclassical sculptors, by avant-garde photographers. To reconstruct the history of these women, each of the visitors will create a fable, in which the essential names of the 20th-century culture are intertwined. Among the visitor to Victoria Ocampo's mansion we can mention the architect Le Corbusier, the composer Igor Stravinsky, the writers Graham Greene, Aldous Huxley, Waldo Frank, Albert Camus... You will also hear the whisper of two young writers cementing what will be a bond that will last for decades: Adolfo Bioy Casares and Jorge Luis Borges... close
