About 6,000 years ago, a group of demons was imprisoned in a special magical tomb in the dungeon by a powerful magician - the Sorcerer of the Sand. These demons threatened to destroy the human race, for they themselves lived only for conquest and destruction. These days, two grave robbers accidentally opened the tomb, freeing the demons. The demons (Diabolico, Loki, Vipra, Jinkser, and little Impus), chief among whom was Diabolico, decided to return to their old palace, but found that in its place now lies the large seaside town of Mariner Bay.
