The TV movie "Freeter buys a house" (Furîtâ, ie wo kau) is a special addition to the series "Freeter buys a house". The action takes place a year after the events of the original television series.
Seiji (Kazunari Ninomiya) still works on the construction site, and his family is enjoying life in a new house. Manami (Karina) has an internship in Okayama, but she comes to Tokyo for a week and the lovers can finally reunite.
Manami grew up with her stepfather - her father died when she was very young, and her mother married a second time. This did not contribute to a good relationship with her mother, so the character of the movie “Freeter buys a house” was never attracted by the prospect of marriage.
Seiji, who had just started a new life, had never thought about marriage, but he was shocked to learn that Manami thought about his mother and marriage.
One day, returning from work, Seiji and Manami find an abandoned kitten and promise to take care of it until they find a new owner. But when Manami goes to work, the kitten gets sick. The girl’s mother, not knowing what to do, contacts her, and as a result, the kitten falls into the care of Seiji. The presence of this little creature and the need to take care of it becomes a turning point in the lives of the characters of the film “Freeter buys a house” – both for Seiji’s family and for Manami and her relationship with her mother. close
