Fire was one of the most terrible and necessary elements since the appearance of mankind on earth. Using fire, man learned to cook food and warm himself in the cold, and at the same time constantly suffered from fires that arose where uncontrollable flames broke free, gaining indomitable strength. History holds much evidence of the disasters caused by fires. Modern fires, despite the power of the latest achievements to extinguish them, are still a source of death and huge material losses.

Dancing on Dangerous Ground is not just an Irish dance. This is a full-scale theatrical performance, based on the Celtic legend of the lovers Diarmaid and Grania (the story from the series of stories about Finn McCool).
Grania, the daughter of the supreme king of Ireland, is given against her will to marry Finn (the leader of the royal army). And it so happened that she meets and falls in love with her husband’s nephew – a beautiful young warrior Diarmaid, in whose arms more than one woman dreamed of visiting. And despite their marital status, Grania charms Diarmaid - they escape together, thus dooming themselves to eternal life on the run from Finn's troops.
The creators of this show were Gene Butler and Colin Dunn, who after leaving Riverdance had time to create their own performance. They planned Dancing on Dangerous Ground for about a year, and only 3 months were allocated to the production of the show. This was clearly not enough, since the dance was going to use not quite standard choreography, actively using the hands of dancers. In addition, on stage it was necessary not only to dance, but also to perform the roles prescribed for the plot. As a result, three dozen of the best dancers from around the world were forced to rehearse for 12 hours a day and almost without a weekend.
The music for "Dancing on Dangerous Ground" was written by Simus Egan, the leader of the famous folk band "Solas". The plot of the play is transmitted mainly only by music and dance - plus sometimes a voice-over.
The show premiered in London in 1999 and was later shown in New York in 2000. Dancing on Dangerous Ground was a good success (especially after the London premiere), but in the end it never took root, and now this performance is not shown on any stage in the world. close

The main character of the documentary Amanda Barrett and Mike Beynon "BBC: Carnivores. The leopard is the most understudied predator, which is a member of the African family of big cats.
This formidable beast is famous for its nocturnal lifestyle, and therefore shooting leopards until a certain day was difficult. However, thanks to modern special equipment, the filmmakers made this beautiful film and gave the audience the opportunity to follow the life of two active leopards that live in the Luangwa Valei reserve in Zambia. close

N.Y.H.C. is the first feature-length documentary to explore the New York Harcore music scene. Drawings its roots from punk rock, hardcore evolved into a dedicated, self-contained movement, unconcerned with success in the mainstream. The documentary follows seven bands in the summer of 1995, ranging from Bronx inner-city youth to Long Island suburbanites to Hare Krishna devotees. N.Y.H.C. is a surprisingly in-depth and non-exploitive look into a vital and often neglected music community. close
