An exciting 4-part documentary about the travels of a virologist around the world clearly tells about what insects should be feared and what not to do in those places where there are many poisonous creatures and insects.
Here can bite a poisonous ant, and a jumping beetle ... Throughout the series of this fascinating documentary, Dr. Mike Leahy tries to be very careful and watch closely if there are any dangerous crawling or flying insects nearby. A virologist by profession, Mike Lee travels the planet in search of the most venomous creatures in the animal world, proving that the size of a deadly insect does not matter. Under the close attention of doctors, Mike manages to understand the mechanics of the secret weapons of these killers and develop behavioral tactics that help to avoid unwanted encounters with them. On the island of Borneo, Mike climbs a 30-meter cliff to get into a cave with a large number of bat guanos, in which poisonous cockroach bugs have settled. He's knee-deep in the mud trying to find these little, deadly insects. His acquaintance with disgusting parasites and terrible creatures sometimes becomes too close, for example, with a formidable water lizard or small candiru fish, which is dangerous because with a stream of urine can penetrate the urethra of a person. In Brazil, you can watch Mike keep a respectful distance from an innocent caterpillar, whose tiny needles can release deadly poison. In India, Mike meets a famous bloodsucker and even donates his blood to this six-legged bloodsucker. Fortunately, there are monkeys who also donate. On the island of Borneo, Mike comes across a giant carnivorous plant with a large hole in which, with the help of broth juice, the plant slowly digests any insect and even a small mammal that gets there. While making his way through the jungles of Vietnam, Mike comes face to face with a snake whose venom is so venomous that the victim has a 90% chance of surviving its bite. close
