I watched the film of the French director Philippe Le Gouet “The Price of Life” / Le coût de la vie, 2003, whose film “Alceste on a Bicycle” I once liked, this film I also liked. The theme of the film is very everyday - people's attitude to money and money, as well as how this affects their relationships with people. We see several very different characters with very different attitudes to them: Brett (Fabris Lukini) is a pathological miser who cowardly escapes at any risk of losing even a small amount of money, because of which he loses a woman whom he seems to love, Maurice (Claude Rich) on the verge of years decided to sell all his factories, not caring about the fact that people will lose their jobs because of this, Coway (Vincent Lyndon), who spends money right and left without being able to assess his financial situation, and in the end, her father decides to make nothing for herself at the age of 8, she is not able to make a fortune. We see them and their surroundings and see what happens to them all. Since the film is still made in a comedic way, there is nothing particularly bad, except that some excesses along the way. As we can see, the actors were filmed very good, the theme, although not very complicated, but quite relevant for everyone (everyone, of course, has their own relationship with money and the number of everyone is different), so I watched not without interest.
