Film directed by Avi Nesher "Turn left at the end of the world", 2004. The film is devoted both to the so-called drama of the growing up of two girls, one of whom is mainly a story, and to the rather complex relationship of Jews who came to Israel from different countries for the promised better life and a lot of opportunities. In this case, fate brings together immigrants from India (even did not know that Jews came to Israel from there) and Morocco. Not only do they perceive each other as representatives of different nationalities and feud on this basis, they are also patriots of the countries whose colonies were their countries, i.e. Britain and France. The film is quite good, interesting and from a purely cognitive point of view. Israel does not look very good here, because people were actually lured into a terrible hole on the edge of the desert by deception, former intellectuals are forced to work in a glass container factory by simple sorters and they have no way out, no one else is going to provide them with anything else. If anyone is interested in the subject, then the film is worth watching.
