The movie turned out pretty good. Definitely better than I expected. I thought there would be some comedy melodrama about how a person re-educates, admits his mistakes and wants to get everything back, which is what happens at the end of the film. Actually, the film turned out to be such, there are all the standard techniques of such films, his son must be his best friend, his daughter must fall in love with him, he must meet his wife in this guise. It would seem that all the techniques are completely borrowed from the movie Back to the Future, but only with accuracy, and vice versa. If there was a son involved in such adventures, then here the father fell under the distribution. In other words, you can laugh in some places.
Of the cast, I almost didn’t like anyone. I never thought Zac Efron was a decent actor, nor was he in this movie. Some kind of no emotions at all, in general, zero acting. I like the image of Need Gold, Mike’s best friend. An ordinary man who got rich one day by inventing software to prevent music from being downloaded from the Internet. And then he got even richer when he created a program that bypassed his program to prevent music from downloading from the Internet. And of course his house. That's great. I have always dreamed of having a house with a bunch of fakes of the coolest fighters: Lord of the Rings and of course Star Wars. Lightsabers are available.
Overall, the film is better than I expected. One time you can definitely watch, if only because the plot is not as boring as most current films of our time.
