This is not a deception, this is the new truth! (c) It’s impossible not to fall in love with a movie where Dylan Moran’s character says, “My name is Pierce.” I am a writer, a pornographer and a waiter.
From that moment on, I enjoyed every shot, every twist of the plot that became more absurd. Genres mixed, and it became impossible to record “The film with me in the lead” in the comedy.
I would call it tragicomedy, or at least admit that I believed all the plot twists and turns – tragic accidents sometimes seem surprisingly real. Some moments, however, did resemble a parody of a horror movie, where the main character would be a cursed apartment.
The annotation for the film says that he tells two friends who decided to write a screenplay. And I would single out the word "friends." Pierce is a delightful friend who not only will not betray in difficult times, but also corresponds to many popular sayings associated with friendship. His actions were what interested me most, because he was the one who saved the situation throughout the action.
In the finale, things didn’t turn out as I expected (and I don’t think they did). And in the end, it turned out to be an interesting story in a story that can be told endlessly.
