I have not watched Polish films for a long time, and then one moviegoer strongly advised and I watched the film directed by Maciej Wojtyshko “Garden of Louise” / Ogród Luizy, 2007. One of the main characters of the film is Louise, a mentally ill girl who is forcibly placed in a psychiatric hospital as her father runs for mayor, is ashamed of his daughter and fears that she will interfere with his election campaign. In the hospital, she draws the attention of the local bandit Fabian Savitsky, who himself asked to the hospital to issue false documents that he is insane, in order to evade punishment. The girl is a beautiful and capable artist, she is also imbued with sympathy for Fabian, but at the same time she is afraid of everything, because she has long been deprived of the opportunity to contact the outside world. In the same hospital works as an orderly in appearance very cute, but in fact absolute sadist Marian, who likes to mock patients, his abuse and Louise. After some time, Fabian leaves the hospital, leaving Louise a mobile phone, he calls her regularly, so one night, when the conversation suddenly breaks down, he, suspecting something wrong, goes to the hospital with his friends, sees that Louise is tied to the bed and trembles with fear, takes her from there, at the same time as properly gets sadist Marian. He settles her in a nice house, which he rents, where Louise begins to tend the garden, turning it into a beautiful place. In the end, Fabian decides to end his criminal activities and leave with Louise. But it is one thing to decide, another to carry out what is planned, given the nature of its activities. There everything is quite complicated and dangerous, but he, and at the same time Louise, will still be able to protect himself from the betrayal of former accomplices, there is hope that everything will go for the better. The film turned out to be really good, although neither the complexity of the plot, nor anything else special, it is not different, a simple, rather human film. The actors in the lead roles - Patricia Soliman and Marcin Dorocinsky - I also liked.
