The Inside is an American crime drama television series created by Tim Minear and Howard Gordon and produced by Imagine Television. The Inside follows the work of the FBI's Los Angeles Violent Crimes Unit, a division dedicated to investigating particularly dangerous crimes. The Inside initially aired on the Fox Network from June 8 to July 13, 2005. Although thirteen episodes were produced, Fox aired only seven episodes before canceling the series. All thirteen episodes were subsequently aired on Britain's ITV4 in 2006.

In the list of victims - 13 people and scenario. I can say that “Special Department” is a pure clone of many popular shows at the time, such as “Criminal Thinking”, “SCI”. Although the picture (but not the quality) all the time annoyingly reminded me of “Law and Order”. I don't know why, but the cases investigated by the team have left a very unpleasant residue. It looks like the same maniacs, the same corpses. It’s a bit too “dirty” to feel. I don’t even want to talk about the main character. I don't. No story, no game. The show was shut down pretty soon. Only seven of the thirteen episodes were broadcast, which is not surprising. A good cast of actors by the director was turned into a pure puppet theater. Characters show so little emotion and so much ranting in vain that I always wanted to hit someone with a flap stick like Swift, so that they came to their senses and were not distracted. Despite the flaws, the series has been fully reviewed. Will I reconsider? I don't know. Smiled: Paul in one episode tells Danny (Alec Baldwin) about an evening with his wife - "watched a movie, a space western." Hello Serenity). Evaluation... Hmm. Of the pluses, only my favorite genre and Alec Baldwin (who once again plays not very smart, but strong-bold former Marine). 6 out of 10 Original
