Suddenly very good against the background of all the junk that has been filmed over the years in the universe of Starship. Fascist first film and a bunch of low-budget thrashing after it, and then suddenly a quality work out of nowhere. What elements are needed for a good film? Well, plot, visual, plausibility, psychology, emotion and idea. There is only an idea missing here, but it is forgivable for the project when it is shot as a sequel to an ancient action. Everything else is. I have never caught a film on anti-science or contradictions in logic, all the characters are alive, feeling, different, good action, the drama of the captain and the perishing ship, the ambiguous human villain. Competently used elements of the universe from other parts and even in the case inserted purely Japanese OBCR (well, without them the Japanese). As for the picture – it is not good by the standards of the film, but good by the standards of the game cut-scene, especially for its time. Therefore, if you tune in that you are watching a machine, and not a movie, then everything becomes normal. In general, for its niche it is a high-quality project. It is especially gratifying that there is no ideological crap here, and it is just spherical fiction in a vacuum, for lovers of such.
