War films often get all sorts of prizes because war is a borderline state of humanity, where there's a lot of pain, a lot of emotion. The worst form of war is civil war. There is no heroism in it, there is no right in it, it is terrible, as they say, "Brother went against brother." This is what the Korean movie "38th Parallel" is about.

There is no heroism in it, there is no right in it, it is terrible, as they say, "Brother went against brother." This is what the Korean movie "38th Parallel" is about. I am impressed by watching, and it is difficult to write something - emotions overwhelm. Of the obvious advantages of the film - it is very interesting to watch, 2.5 hours flew by unnoticed. I would like such a film about our civil, but not heroic about the reds, and not pompous about the whites (like "Admiral"), but so hard and true.
