At the beginning of the film, everything is very bad: the comic introduction as pure farce, anecdotal sitcom atmosphere, stupid dialogue, lack of intrigue. I knew the movie was childish, but it was bad even by that standard. Nevertheless, the film suddenly played out, and with the advent of a love polygon, it suddenly became interesting to watch. Some individual moments were pleasing. The authors for some time decided not to use the theme of a downtrodden loser, and the main character turned out to be a normal kid. Pleasantly surprised and the rearrangement of roles that the party of school heroes turned out to be villains, and the gloomy fiery envious took the side of the hero, the ending also gave a couple of surprises. In fact, the film has no problem with the plot and picture. The settings of the school and the comic book combined perfectly, but the problem was a modest budget (35 million), and as a result poor schedule and props. Also, some actors look ridiculous in this context: Kurt Russell in the role of bathy, as well as a physical assistant and driver. You look at them, and you think "I don't believe." In general, the film is an average, it is not ashamed to watch, it gives some pleasure, but it clearly does not reach the level of even cartoons on this topic. It is much stronger than the series “Young Justice”.
