On the recommendation of friends, I watched today just an eccentric comedy, shot in 1994 by the unknown director Alexei Kapilevitch, “Airplane Flies to Russia”, this is his only feature film, unfortunately, we will not know which of it turned out to be a director, unless he wants to return to the movies. A group of some incomplete bandits hijacks a plane and tells it to fly to Iran, and does it with a cunning trick when they declare the hijacking is not the plane that is actually being hijacked. From the first plane, they somehow capture three hostages, who are then dropped somewhere, God knows where. And begin their ordeal and continuous running: then they fall into the hands of bandits, then in the hands of the police, then they are picked up by a submarine. In the end, they realize that they can get out of there only in the same way as they got there, that is, by hijacking the plane. The plot does not shine with complexity, the characters are very different people - the guy Sergey (Andrey Ankudinov), a student of an actor, the director of some enterprise, whose name we will never know (Sergei Losev), and shy and harmless, until he is hurt, the strongman Vanya (Sergey Parshin). So if you like comedies like this, you can see the movie is quite funny.
