The rebellious Thracian Spartacus, born and raised a slave, is sold to Gladiator trainer Batiatus. After weeks of being trained to kill for the arena, Spartacus turns on his owners and leads the other slaves in rebellion. As the rebels move from town to town, their numbers swell as escaped slaves join their ranks. Under the leadership of Spartacus, they make their way to southern Italy, where they will cross the sea and return to their homes.

The film is a masterpiece worthy of not a single viewing, a classic of world cinema. . . 10 out of 10.

11 January 10 I saw this movie for the first time in fourth grade. Playing artists at the highest level. That's great. That’s when I wrote my first review. And Spartacus mentioned the pencil factory. How I was in love with Spartacus. Everyone knows and remembers Spartacus. But I remember my parents going to the second series of Spartacus. Played classics.
