A long-standing film with Michael Caine is Take Carter Out, directed by Mike Hodges in 1971. Hitman Jack Carter arrives in his hometown of Newcastle to bury his brother, find out who killed him, as his natural death seems unlikely to him, and get even with the killers. He succeeds, but, alas, the enemies manage to remove Carter. The film, of course, is not bad, but over the years, it has faded somewhat, weak points are visible in the direction and in the script. However, Michael Kane is always interesting to look at, the assessment for his sake.
