Angie comes to Hong Kong to write a dissertation on Chinese superstition. She settles in an old, uninhabited house where strange things begin to happen. Her friends assure her that there is a ghost in the house and she should move, but Angie does not believe in ghosts and stubbornly stands her ground, which means that the tragedy that happened once in this house can be repeated again.
