The film is based on the real events that occurred in 1963 in Wroclaw, when an epidemic of blackpox broke out in the city. Dr. Adam Ravich diagnoses a patient with smallpox symptoms, but no one wants to believe his diagnosis. When the disease began to spread rapidly, doctors, administrative authorities and the army were mobilized to combat it. But doctors were powerless, and the number of victims increased. . .
